this is the MP. 100 sq in, 24mm beam 16x19 308g static weight, 297gSW RA 66.
I’ve played with the Pro more than the MP.

22mm beam, 16x19, static 330, SW 317g RA 70. Plays softer than the recorded RA. It’s extremely customizable though. I will extend it and weight it up like my Prestige

Do you think the new prestige has a control similar to babolat pure control?

I played with the second generation Pure Control and never liked it. I would say the Prestige has more of a solid feel all around than a Pure Control and more pop than a Pure Strike. That being said I have tried the Pure Strike 18x20 and it feels very similar to a Prestige.

The Pro feels like a Prestige with a bit more pop. I strung it at 52lbs with Hawk Touch. I think 48-49lbs is the perfect tension. It’s got more control than an Extreme Tour and more feel than a radical, it almost has the softness of the Gravity Pro with a high RA (I don’t think the racquet plays to such a high RA. )

I love my pure control team 97 320g. I find the feel solid and comfortable with the power level as low as I like

Probably a silly question, but are those strung or unstrung specs?
The static weights seem to imply they're strung (at least that 330g), but the SW implies that they're unstrung (since they're rather low).
Either way, RA 70 is big yikes... I know you said it plays softer, but I think that will turn away a lot of people from considering it. What RA does it feel like?

They are strung specs. Unstrung dropped the RA about 3pts. I think if you flipped the RA on the MP and the Pro that would be more accurate. The MP is supposed to be compete against racquets like the Pure Drive. It’s quite powerful which surprised me because the Pro has very good control.

I love the Pro. Didn’t like the feel of the MP or Tour so kept them just to have the entire line. The New racquet definitely plays softer than the RA I posted. Trust me I was shocked when I saw that. It’s feels crisp like a Prestige on contact. It’s a beautiful frame. I was pleasantly surprised when I hit with it.

They have to know something we don't, because it's very different from what other brands are doing.No Pro version, there is a Tour version.

That’s the million dollar question. Based on what some insiders have told me. It may be replacing another silo in the future but not in 2022 at least.
Replacing the Instinct, which seems to be a dead line now. Not sure if any pros still play with it?

Boom line for sure would replace Instinct line. I guess the Instinct racquets sales may vary geographically. In Europe and US it’s probably dead, but in Asia and Russia it can be a different story. Personas like Sharapova are selling stuff nicely in China. So Head may introduce Boom in US and Europe and leave Instinct in other regions for some time.

From my perspective, gravitating towards 98 sq in frames, I actually don't think they have too many options or lines.
I currently own the Prestige MP, Rad MP and (just newly bought) the Rad Pro. I also used to own a pair of Extreme Tour.
I think they're all great frames, and they top my list of 98(/97) sq in frames currently on the market, ahead of Babolat, Wilson, Yonex, Prince ++
However, a racquet that I would love to see is a Gravity 98, and it seems the Boom Pro might fit that bill.

I've said this before, but I don't necessarily think that Head has too many lines, but they simply haven't done the best job clarifying how each silo is defined.
They have the standard:
Prestige - Control
Extreme - Spin
Instinct (Boom?) - Power
Radical - All Rounder
But then you also throw in some "in between" silos:
Gravity - In the podcast it was regarded as a Control frame, but the marketing is about its "Large Sweetspot".
Speed - The podcast said the Speed line was in the "Power" silo, but that's also not really the case.
Obviously we're not as clear as Yonex/Babolat here which have very defined Power/Spin/Control (although the latter is in quotation marks for Babolat ), but I would argue that we're not quite in the levels of Prince yet which are just releasing all these different models (Vortex! Ripstick! Twistpower!) which all seem to say the same thing ("easy access to power and spin").
I would also argue that Wilson suffer from a similar issue with clarity in their range, since I'm not really sure how their lines stack up, and they've only really got the Pro Staff / Blade / Clash / Ultra to work with, yet only the Pro Staff is straightforward to me (and let's not even get into where the Pro Labs rackets sit).

The Gravity is a control frame but the larger sweet spot is a more attractive marketing tool to non TT 7.0’s in local markets.
Me personally, I don’t understand the point of the Speed. Especially with the Boom Pro coming. But Djoker sellsRACQUETS so the speed isn’t going anywhere.
