Does any know if you will be able to put the new head grommets in older racquets
Yeah baby... Teflon CAP grommets... wake up the old Pro Series frames!
so far, with the exremes it's a no go. we'll just have to wait and see.
are you sure ? there is a thread that stated It is possible to put on the new grommets into the Old Microgel Extreme.
maybe with the extreme, but not the pro
Cuz i have a Radical Pro and i dont feel like buying a new racquet if i can just use the grommets. the one thing i heard they might make the new radical tour a 98 in. head
head's really mixing it up so you can't really use the new grommets on their older models. the marketing strategy is a doozy.
^^I just want to know why they made the frame more head heavy.?
maybe the teflon grommets weigh a bit more than the old ones? that or they just wanted to make it more head heavy. that's my guess anyway.
Its so unfair they're gonna change every racquet completely, the extreme is a prime example they increased the swingweight a 5hitload
Load up on the old ones before they're gone!
To support the idea that the teflon grommets are providing more power ? Or am I just getting cynical
I mean head really isnt meant to be a power company so i don't see the point although i use the microgel radical pro, the liquidmetal was their best. They shouldnt have changed
hmm... i admire head's new ideas, but not being reverse compatible isn't the greatest idea. players live to customize rackets, but not to the same extent anymore.
teflon grommets aren't exactly new. they've been around for awhile.
Is Head planning on switching to Teflon CAP grommets?
