New Head Youtek IG Instinct!

Anyone else excited about this? I loved the Youtek Instinct, but a 16x19 pattern would make it even better. If anyone has any info on this one, please share! It is supposidly Maria Sharapova's new stcik:

Its hard to tell what colors it is, but I'm sure it's an improvement to that plain gold paint job on the Youtek model. I just read it doesn't come out until August

If that is the new instinct and not a pj (which i'm sure it is) it looks as if head got rid of the yonnie head shape and 18x19 pattern....

I am not interested in racquets that procure too easily power as it lacks control and I am sure this stick will be in this trend. I prefer my IG Speed 300 that works pretty well now I am used to the grip shape.

The Instinct won't be any more powerful than the Speed 300. The Youtek Instinct has a nice moderate power level and I am sure the new IG model won't be much more powerful.

The Speed is great, but I really liked the YT Instinct and was never really sure why I gave that stick up? It did everyone well for me. Could have been the boring paintjob?

The great thing about the Instinct is that it is PERFECT "Player's Tweener" that provides that rare combo of power, control and touch in a frame that's not too stiff and has a little flex and give to it. Only downside is that it's kinda light in stock form (11 oz) but that can be easily remedied with lead tape.

Now I just have to figure out what racquet to use until August!

Unfortunatly Maria is not using the new Instinct she is still using the Radical Pro.

I guess that's a little better than that ugly mustard yellow? It looks predominantly black with some light blue accents. At least it's not all light blue like that Dunlop 200 Lite

It's still gonna be a dense string pattern. Just remember that Sharapova got that thing PJed.
I don't know.... I was a big fan of that bronze color. But I'm a big fan of the Instinct line!

maybe Gasquet will be using the new PJ and the racquet will finally match his own string pattern. Kinda silly him using an Extreme PJ while using an Instinct anyway. Just paint his Instinct like one and sell more Instinct racquets.

The 18x19 pattern didn't make much sense in a 100" tweener anyway.
I think the 16x19 will appeal to more.

i used the lm and fxp versions of the instinct and i love the 18x19 pattern. for me, it has the right combination for feeling solid and forgiving at the same time. i also think it is one of the unique characteristics of the instinct line.

if they switched the new design to 16x19, then what difference will that racket be compared to the speed elite and speed 300 or the extremes?

i had actually thought they were going to discontinue the instinct line because they didn't come up with a youtek version until after the radicals, extremes and speeds. and besides, all the previous instinct endorsers started endorsing the extremes so i thought head was going to kill the line by letting it fade away.

Looks nice! Wasn't too big on the instinct though the power and little control (imo) seemed to make balls fly on me too much

When I first shopped for my very first racket, I seriously considered a fx instinct team. It felt great in my hand but it was too expensive. I've been a fan ever since -- never bought one, just admire from afar.

I think the mustard color instinct's shape and color is better than the new, dark blue one. The new one's egg shaped head looks weird. Too much like a dunlop.

I like the new grip shape!
Can't stand that rectangular Head shape. I always
buy one size down and mod it up to be more square.
