New Ig Rad MP_info

If someone have some info on Radical MP series it would be very helpful

Is it worth buying Ig Mp version over YT Mp?, is Ig model so much better / different than Youtek that it would be worth paying extra money, I am asking for my friend, because he has opportunity to by Youtek (second one / at low price) and doesn't have possibility to demo new Ig version.

I heard that Ig is like new color and some increased stability, but with lead the youtek is stable too, so....
Btw his rad is with leather grip and lead at 3&9 4g I think.

Thanks very much for comments and info.

I think that Head should be worried about the fact that 266 tennis players didn't try Ig rad.... :)

IMO - its worth the change. i think Head did well with the IG update. some say that the muted response loses it feel, but to me it feels way more comfortable on my arm than the youtek version. the ig update is already rock solid on its own, so perhaps a change to a leather grip will do its trick. i'd pay more for the new version. just my 2 cents.

I agree that the IG version is better. However, I think the Microgel version is better as well and it is even cheaper.

I owned all 3 of the Radical MP and found the Youtek Radical to be the best of the 3. The Microgel version is the softest of the three and the IG is the most solid of the 3. The Youtek version was in between the two and I felt the IG felt a bit tinny compared to the Youtek version.

Thanks guys for the info, I tried also the Microgel and youtek, for me youtek is much better, but didn't try Ig...
Youtek is very nice stick for advanced player, with nice control and low power level...
If you have more info, please don't hesitate.......

How about control and power, is it the same? (youtek vs Ig).

As I have played with IG Rad Mp for few months now, I can share my thoughts regarding comparison with my main stick YT Rad Mp.
First of all I would say that IG is more expensive looking, paintjob is better. It plays heavier than YT, I can feel that the tip (12'clock) is heavier, because I have 2g of lead at 12 on my YT, and they have same weight and swing weight.
IG compared to YT is more stable when playing from baseline, to me it feels little bit lower powered than YT, but nothing much. At the net IG and YT are pretty the same.
Now, why did I got back to my YT Rad's, I have found that IG (for me, and my view of ''feel'') have lost feel in every part of the game.
I can perceive on point of impact to the ball, and on slices that I am not connected with the ball.
It's like my hand is in fog, very muted feel for me without feedback information on my shots, especially on slices and drop shots, it is like I got sedative at my dentist, you can feel the tooth, but you cannot feel the pain. YT is much more like Russian space technology if you know what I mean, it is more like board, and when you hit the ball you can feel the impact and get the right feedback from the strings and frame.
Positive thing about IG is stability. In stock form IG is better than YT in segment when you say ''pushed by strong hitting players'' that is not an issue with IG. (And not either with YT if you insert some lead tape)
I would say that this is subjective review, because my wife found IG much better than my Youtek.

Well this is my point of view regarding IG vs YT
Sorry for guerilla English and grammar.

I have the IG rad MP and the Non-IG Rad MP (Youtek). I notice no difference between the two. If you can get a good deal on a non IG rad MP, I say go for it. You'll save some $ most definitely.

They both have very similar specs.

As I said it is subjective opinion. (spec are almost the same - but the feel is different (for me))
I agree if you have good price on YT, go for it.
Or the best way is to demo both, and get yours verdict.
