From the pics, they look like a clunker... kinda like the Sketchers Step-Ups or Shape-Ups or whatever. Y'know, those ugly, thick soled shoes that supposedly tone your butt as you walk.

Oh, no, they remind me of the old people shoes that you can see all retirees wear in fascinating colors as black and nude.

I don't think they look bad. That first picture has some sort of weird grey shadow underneath it which makes the soles look huge. But in the other pictures it looks like a normal shoe.

I also like that it is a lightweight shoe.

LOL. The grey part on the bottom is a shadow. The soles really aren't a couple inches thick.

K-Swiss makes good shoes and has a good reputation. But, esp. with shoes, YMMV.

I picked the shoe sample up in his store, they are very light and contrary to the pix they are lower to the ground than the 2.3. They will be coming in darker colors later in the year.

    Very light shoe.

coulda gone without the emblem on the side of the shoe. It disrupts the design of the shoe, IMO... Should have found another place along with the tongue for the emblem.

I'm a fan of Gael Monfils, but the weed was most definitely strong with him when they shot that commercial. I've been scared silly of French people ever since... and that Tennis Channel bag check of Michael Llodra didn't help..

Before you hate on the shoes, you have to try them out. They are the lowest to the ground shoe I have tried on in a while. The feel reminds me of oscillates. They are basically oscillates/nike vapors witha 6 month guarantee. How could you beat that?

If you go to ultimatetennis.com kswiss has a constant banner ad that you can scroll through which shows release dates for future colors, men and women.

I asked Tw and they said it was a custom shoe not sold for retail. Much like Monfils sleeveless top.

    Sucks huh. Sweet looking shoe.

Monfils kept falling, slipping by wearing this shoes.. so I don't know if it's a good shoes or not.. He slipped at least 4-5 times during the first set against Murray..

    Has anyone tried these shoes?

I'm mainly concerned about toe-box width. I find Prince T-22s just barely wide enough in the toe box. Will I be cramped in these shoes?

In any case, I'm happy K-Swiss is making serious shoes for competitors again.

Yeah, I read the review too and was really impressed. I am thinking about buying a pair and leaving the Barricade... Well, not thinking, I'm probably going to go ahead and get a pair.

Well I went up in size for the prince T22's and found that to make the difference.
In a regular size when I tried the k- swiss the toe box was fine but didn't like the feel of the shoe.

I've had these shoes for a month and a half. Their...okay but i made a mistake of buying them without any reviews on them yet.

Durability- Pretty good, no rips yet. Just some tiny tears but one thing i noticed is the toe part on the front is starting to become loose...uh-oh.

Weight- These do not feel like their weight when you put them on! It's clunky, heavy-ish, and just not the type of shoe for me! I didn't feel an increase in speed either, actually maybe slower!

Comfort- Not good. I've sprained my ankle at least 5 times wearing these. There is no room whatsoever between your foot and the shoe. Too snug! Definitely look somewhere else for comfort!

Ventilation- Once again not good! My socks get literally ruined with sweat after one match and my feet are so hot in these!

Overall- 5/10 Not bad but not good! I don't reccomend!

? lol yep. maybe their just not right for my kind of feet. Also did you buy a half size bigger? I got my exact size and it is too small and snug! My feet sweat a lot so i need really good ventilation and you said they only had fine ventilation. I can't believe i haven't broken my toe in these yet! Absolutely no room in the toe area and their actually a little cramped! Well goes that everybody cant love the same thing...

Anyone know when the next colourway is coming out or in what order they release their shoes? I want to pick up a pair of them but im not the biggest fan of the blue colourway.

Nike releases their main shoe line every Grand Slam
Babolat releases their main shoe line every year

How about K-Swiss, does anyone know?

I have both the whites and the black/blues. Both size 10--my normal size. No discernible difference between the two. Love the shoes. Only mild complaint is they are not super durable BUT I did not really expect that in a light performance shoe. I recommend them but shoes, maybe more than any other piece of equipment, are really player/foot specific.

I think it's the blue/grey one that's really going sell this shoe. At least to me it will.

My feet are slightly wide so popular brands like Adidas and Asics never fit me, especially in the toe box. Been wearing Kswiss Ultrascendors for ages now and might consider trying the Big Shot ...

But has anyone been experiencing any of the slipping & lack of traction reported by the TW playtesters here?
