Fed reminds me of that "Uncle Drew" basketball character from those ads (Pepsi, maybe?). Look at that grizzled countenance! Still playing with the wild vigor of a young buck.

I have both and much prefer the AJ version. Much more cushion and much more comfortable. Made for street wear for sure. It makes the plain vapor feel too stiff. Heavier? Yes, but not by much and i love wearing them on court

Thanks, even if it's bad news. After seeing the Fed pic was going to say 'but they'll sell that shirt'. Guess not - at least to those who have jobs, school or don't live in the NYC area. I would 4 or 5 of those shirts. But not paying auction site prices.

Sucks. They've got tees and hoodies with those designs. You can make combinations of the aqua, black, gray, cement (elephant print), and red. Would be awesome to have unique combinations.

I'm referring to the non-tennis Flyknit version of the original Air Jordan 1 (black/red "Bred") colorway.
It releases on SNKRS in September.
I have no idea about a general release for the AJ3 Vapor.
I get so pissed at Nike for making them so limited and those of us that are big fans have no chance of getting a pair. FYI I would actually wear mine to play tennis.

I went. I arrived around 8. Guy handed out tickets (#29) and said to be back at 9. Around 9 we got into line, and the store opened at 10. 5 at a time, and by the second group everything above 10 was sold out. Took about 40 minutes to get to #29, I got a 10 ($200). Also have custom t shirts ($50) and hoodies ($85) in white, grey, and black. I was about to buy a shirt and hoodie and the guy making them said they're custom order you have to come back to pick them up. So unfortunately I didn't get anything since I'm not going back. I'm kind of pissed because I wanted a shirt and hoodie. As I was leaving I heard someone ask a worker if they're available everyday, and he said no, when they're done, they're done (until online drop). Also, this shouldn't be a surprise, but 99% of people there had no clue who Fed was.

How does they fit like? Same as traditional vapor like v9,9.5 or runs large like flyknit vapor?
Please give us clue if there is a chance to buy online via retail site.
And it always give me frustration, every year I visit open from second week(2010,2017)They got special release at first week, and when I visited first week(2013)there was nothing special to buy except $500 jacket... and they released aj vapor at next year's open...
I really hate this limited edition policy of nike, they never give a chance to people who really loves sports and stars. Only rich resellers who use auto programs and poor peoples to buy multiple pairs won the race. It's insane.

They def shouldn't complain if some enterprising person in Asia makes some knockoffs... And I'm a defender of IP - but companies that pull these stunts too often to create 'buzz' deserve to get burned. (/rant)

Yeah. Wasn't really "hard" to get the shoes, but it just seemed very disorganized. Seemed like it was a last minute thing thrown together. And I was really annoyed with the shirt/hoodie sales, the fact that I had to go back another time to get it, which wasn't happening. I was more excited about them than the kicks, but at least I got something.

Ok so Nike retros shoes worn by Jordan, Pippen, Penny, Andre, Petros, Barkley, KG, etc. etc.
How long until we see some retro Vapor Speeds and the like? There is definitely a market (albeit much smaller than basketball) for retro tennis kicks. ATCs and Oscillates sell/sold well. Especially OG colorways.
