NEW Prestige MP 360

Ouch
Well, even though I've been scolded by the tt racquets experts (who probably live in some old little tennis equipment shed at an abandoned tennis center on the North Dakota, Canada border lol) on here many times, I've gained pretty solid racquet advice. Just sayin
Lol sorry my friend. Wasn't pointing at you personally. I was just saying in this forum we have hardcore racquet purists. The prestige mold has to.change to stay relevant. Some in this forum rather be playing with a dunlop maxply just for nostalgia. So what, the prestige mp is 98 sq. Inches. If it makes it a better frame so what.

Nice turn of phrase; très élégante - so much classier than saying your f.o.s.
I agree that it's going to take a lot of convincing before I believe that Head haven't continued on turning a silk purse into a sow's ear.

Lol, all good. I’m curious to see how it hits. It should be close to the Prestige Tour.

Colors Look good. Definitely makes the racquet eye catching. Maybe next year they will reverse color or release a reverse like in the instinct line.

P MP is closer to G Pro than S Pro in terms of feel.
I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but both the 360 Speed Pro and the Graphene Touch Prestige have a... metallic feeling to it. Like if you took a metal pipe and hit it against another metal pipe. The feeling from the older Prestiges feels more like taking a metal pipe and hitting a wooden object. Its like a soft, thump vs. a clang.

Anyone else get what I'm saying?

Does the new Prestige MP move closer to the thump or the clang?

I think HH is saying the feel is closer to Gravity Pro. Makes sense as it also has Spiralfiber tech.

Sorry, the first line of my post got deleted. Editing is so weird on the mobile website. I asked...

Dont think I'll be able to try the Gravity Pro. Is the Gravity Pro drastically different from the 360 Speed Pro? They have the same stiffness.

I think the word used here is "brassy"?

Imo the G Pro feels softer and fexier than S Pro. I like both, but prefer G Pro. RA is not everything. It just tells the stiffness of a frame at one point.
S Pro has a beam width of 23mm compared to G Po 20mm, what makes the G Pro more flexible overall.

A young'un can dream of the time when aches were temporary and not something that becomes the new normal.

For me, it's a nostalgia thing to chase that feel.
You will probably not get that nostalgic feel from any current Head racquet.

The Prestige has let me down every year. However, If they come close to the 360 Instinct MP, then I am a fan.

Any comparison to the Speed Pro in terms of feel? Are they similar?

@Howard H ?
The MP is definitely not. IT's a very thin beam. The headsize is only a tiny bit bigger than an older prestige MP because the beam is so thin. The Speed Pro is thicker, bigger head and less flexy and more spin friendly worse feel.

Promising!

The new blades have set a very high bar! Going to hit with these exclusively until the Prestige comes out. I’m rooting for the Prestige though. I tried really hard to resist the blades...

It’s funny all the hoopla over the quote New Prestige. Same thing different year.
im also gonna be very very disappointed if the new prestige "the 360" is similar to the last model
i really have good hopes for this one!
i notise/feel a definate change, from the previous head radical.touch to the new radical.360
im really expecting the same feel change on this line

the h.prestige.touch was heavy to me, solid, but heavy (provably easier to handle on the backhand with a 2hbh, for the 1hbh it was a bit too much work imo)!!
the h.radical.touch is solid and heavy in comparison to the h.rad.360 model, I am using both recently and notise the difference right away, but do to the lighter weight on the radical line, both are fairly easy to swing on the backhand side

the h.graphene.360 technology does make the racquet faster through the air, imo,, so I'm hoping that the graphene.360 "tech", will add this to the prestige line
im hoping for a "solid" feel + prestige style weight + but FAST through the air, making it better for the 1HBH!!,,

The more I look at the pics of the new Prestiges, I don’t think the paint job is that bad. Obviously it could’ve been way better (should’ve made the top bright red orange part maybe the dark burgundy and the bottom part brown with brown caps....but that’s a different discussion). However, if someone puts black caps on this or even if they made the caps match the bottom throat color, it would help immensely.

Is the beam thinner than 22mm (as listed by Head) ?

Head racquet names are a mess. On extreme, radical and gravity the PRO is the heaviest, but not on prestige and speed. On the speed and gravity, PRO means 18x20 pattern, on prestige and radical is 16x19.
The speed pro is the heaviest speed, albeit just 310.

The prestige pro used to be 325. It still can be if you swap in a leather grip.
