NEW Prestige MP 360

I am not sure, looks dark grey/black colour string with silver paint. I would guess the same string as is in the pro tour 2.0 as it looks the same, 2 piece string job, I think I read they use head lynx or head hawk. I cannot find a name on the string so maybe the cheaper of those, the lynx?
If it’s grey it could be Hawk Touch.

According to the HEAD 2021 catalog, the 360+ Prestige (as do Gravity, Speed and Instinct) racquets if pre-strung, have Lynx 1.25 dark anthracite. The Radical has Lynx Tour orange, Extreme has Lynx Tour grey.

Yes I was thinking that, it is the same colour as I have a reel of hawk touch in anthracite but as hitmorebhs says I bet its the lynx in a 1.25 gauge if that's what the brochure says.
Does it say what tension haha, I bet it has been In there a long time now so will have dropped a bit by now anyway. I have a graphene touch prestige mid pre strung that I got last year and had a brief hit with the factory strings and it felt terrible. The outer mains felt loose and just wrong when I checked the tension? The way the strings lie in the bed just look a bit wrong and out of alignment in my opinion on these pre strung rackets, they just don't feel right to me which I guess is why they usually come unstrung to get the desired string set up and tension fitted to the users requirements.

Any thoughts/experience on using the prestige 360+ MP string set up wise. I have recently had lay off from tennis after a shoulder injury. I am looking at comfort from the racket now the shoulder has healed a bit more but will be taking it steady to get the muscle strength back. I usually string at around 48lbs with the IGMP. The last time I tried a hybrid on the PMP 360+ I tried 46/48 and it felt underpowered. However I want a bit more power so was wondering whether I may be better upping the swingweight maybe like I did with my IGMP with some tungsten tape.

i used 17 VS gut at 46lbs-much better power and still amazing control-I did up my SW to 320

Yes, VS is a nice gut isn't it. Full bed of gut? Where did you add the weight? I know now there is the weighted trapdoor which can adjust the balance albeit bringing the static weight down. I was using 2 X 2g if tungsten at 10 x 2 position on my IGMP which worked well I found. I need to measure the swingweight when I look to match a pair up further down th line after getting one right first?

it really was, yes full bed. heavy wilson comfort gel grip and lead tape on inside of the frame on each side at 7-10 and 2-5 gave me a weight of 12.3oz
but only a 320 sw to ease my shoulder pain.

Sounds like you gave it a boost there. But the frame needs a bit extra in my opinion as I remember it. Even stringing lower tensions it felt like it didn't have the outright power of the older prestige versions. It felt fine and was generally a good frame. I think long term prestige users of the older series also become more used to the TK82 pallets which I prefer but it's personal taste. If you have spent many years with a certain grip shape it's important to continue what you know. When I use other manufacturers I never like them as much apart from Mantis who make virtually the same shape grip as Head which is nice to use. Head themselves have now moved away from this grip to the squarer shape now.

I use Head Lynx Tour (champagne) @ 44lbs. I also have the TK82 pallets, leather grip; lead at 7-10. I also us the 'normal' butt cap and not the weighted 1. Unstrung is 326.5cm/31cm/297sw. Even after trying all the new Head frames (I have a pro shop); nothing is a comfortable as the Prestige 360+ MP. Nearest I tried was the Yonex Vcore Pro 97 D.

Just switched to the prestige MP 360+. New, unstrung with plastic wrap on. They all (bought 3) have TK82 pallets. I noticed it was rectangular not more modern square. So fortunately don’t have to install TK82. Did anybody else get TK82/TK219 stock as well?

Have you actually took the grip off to see the code is TK82. My understanding is all the newer prestige 360+ mp all had TK82S now so I would check your internals or maybe they aren't standard retail sticks? There isn't a drastic difference to feel but it is there of course a difference especially when playing with the subtle grip changes.

Yeah, took the replacement grips off to add some double sided tape to increase the grip size just a tad. They all say TK219, plus I can see very clearly it’s the old rectangular shape looking at the buttcap (I owned PT2.0 for a while for reference). I bought 2 new ones with plastic wrap on and they gifted me the demo they had at the store since it was the last one. All 3 TK219. Probably head shipped them like that in my country? I’m from Mexico. IDK but pleasantly surprised since I have never installed pallets before. I will compare with others players here and report back. I will also check Auxetic Pro at the store to confirm if it carried over to the new version.

I did read somewhere here when 360+ Pmp was released that only the Pmp or full line of prestige’s would still have tk82 pallets but that was quickly debunked, at least it was true for me. Could they be prostock versions sold like retail? Would be good to consult with the guru himself @vsbabolat. It would be really strange from head having different pallets for different markets.

Edit: I do feel a big difference in play, for my grip style I immediately find my grip returning serve, volleys. I feel at home with this grip shape :)

Yes I'm sure the head guru and those that have purchased overseas will have more information however the butt cap is the same in both models so will not show any difference with the pallets. It seems unlikely that they used the older TK82 but as you say yours are from a retail version that you have unwrapped yourself. I have got to swap mine over to TK82 which I haven't done yet. It's a bit of a pain removing the old ones safely with heat gun etc as they can fracture but applying the new ones straight after is easier. The butt cap also has a weight in now as I have to swapt the grip size also on one of mine from a 2 to a 3.
