Damn, i was thinking the same. Loved the IG prestiges and can't believe a frame with graphene can beat the IGs.

Definitely not better than the IGs.

Ok, so before i stepped on court today i met the local Head rep. who just got of court playtesting frames. It wasn’t the next Prestige line, wich he actually showed me after i talked to him (Prestige 360+ MP), but blacked out Head frames due to release as late as up to 2022(!) I had no idea that brands know what they are going to realese up to 3 years in advance?

The Prestige 2020 demo's will be available in December. The New Speed will be out in March! The Prestige is all red with a burgundy throat and the speed is white with black at the throat.

The Head rackets come out every year in January and i made a mistake on the Speed the Demo's come out in March all the pro's will be playing with them at the Australian Open.

Back on topic though, would still love confirmation on the MP being a 98 and the Pro being a 95..

Confirm as per Head catalogue. Pro is 95 with 16x19 and 22mm beam and MP is 98 with 18x20 and 20mm.

Flexpoint was awful! IG was last good Prestige. What returned to its roots? The messed with the MP mold and the original Prestige Mid was 19mm and 90 headsize. Head has turned their back in their roots.

I prefer this one to the IG - feels kinda like the Blade v7 compared to the Blade 2015.
Also: the returning to its roots was a joke - “they looked up the specs on an old Prestige, found that the frames were 98 sq in and went ‘ah ha! That’s what they’re looking for’ without realizing the real size”. The new Prestige is Head trying to move the line forward, definitely not returning to its roots.

Haven’t hit with new prestige but colorway is interesting

shiny burgundy red at the bottom, matte red at the top with red caps and orange writing. Wasn’t really feeling the colors to be honest

The old burgundy prestige with the brown grommets and gold accents is one of the classiest, most beautiful frames every made.
It’s boggles my mind they won’t just make a similar all gloss burgundy prestige again. Black or brown grommets. But this matte paint trend needs to die ASAP. Matte looks so cheap. The old prestige’s actually looked expensive and oozed quality. My old PT630 paint was beautiful too.

I've never bought and will never buy anything with matte coating. Except maybe some i.Prest... to remove this ugly paint and repaint it by myself. Because of this paint they're now dirt cheap and I can buy 3 racquets for <$50.

Sooo, they took the MP mold, gave it the 16x19 pattern, and turned that into the Pro.... and took the Pro mold (formerly the S), gave it the 18x20 pattern, and turned that into the MP? Got it. And it’s ugly, other than the gloss burgundy. Would black CAPS make it any better? Probably... it certainly did for the Extreme and Instinct. So the Pro will be more like my Youtek Prestige Pro, frame wise.

The only thing that could make this worse is if they had teased the throat, making folks excited about the burgundy red, only to reveal the fluorescent nightmare above on release. Make the hoop darker you dolts in Austria.

So confused about which one to get. If I’ve been playing with a 95si 18x20. Do I go for the mp or the pro? What guidance does Head give its sales teams?

Also, looks like either way I go, will need to buy a bunch of new cap head guard and grommet sets.

The best looking 360 paint job is on the Gravity, Speed, and Radicals.

meanwhile, Blade is taking away the Radical customers and soon will the remaining Prestige users.
Wilson did great with the Clash marketing however, I don't think the line did great. On the other hand, they followed with an awesome Blade

head ruined Prestige and Radical lines, introduced confusing Gravity line and now planning to bury the legendary Prestige line.
Sad.

The upcoming Clash 98 Tour 18x20 with 22mm beam looks like it could be interesting, though that seems a lot like a Blade.

Is it just me or does matte paint feel weird in hand? I prefer the smoother paints.

The silver lining is that the glossy paint in the throat is right where my off hand will hold the racket during the take back.

Down side is that it looks like I'll be hitting with just one side of the face for both forehand and backhand. =]

I wouldn’t be surprised if the 360 Prestige Tour and the 360 Prestige MP share the same mold now. Why have a 99 and 98 in the same lineup? How does that make any sense what so ever?

Molds are definitely all new. The MP has a completely different throat design, similar to the Gravity MP.
