New Prince EXO3 Rebel 98 better than Prince EXO3 Tour 18x20?

So I'm a high school doubles player and I use the Prince EXO3 Tour 18x20. I tried out the Prince EXO3 Rebel 95 (old version) I really liked it however it the head size was not ideal for my level of play in doubles and my shots weren't as powerful as on my Tour 18x20. With the new EXO3 Rebel 98 out, is it worth it to switch from my Tour? I really like my Tour but the Rebel seems to give me more control with a little less power. Does anyone think the new Prince EXO3 Rebel 98 is better than the Prince EXO3 Tour 18x20?

I wouldn't say better...

They're pretty different racquets. I just had a player test one against the other. He really liked the Tour 18x20, but hit better with the Rebel 98. He's going to try them again after the holidays.

I suggest you give it a demo if possible and form your own opinion. I think the Tour 18x20 has a good amount of control, but the Rebel might be a little easier to swing.

I have been using the Exo3 Tour 18 x 20 as well and am quite interested in the Rebel 98. I like the amount of power I get from my tour but playing 4 times a week and all singles and a 4.5 or higher level of intense play I think I would prefer a lighter racquet for the long run.

so can someone please give me input on the following?

1) Do both racquets have the same power if one uses the same string -tension - strokes or is there a significant drop with one? I know I just could not go back to my Head MG Radical MP after using the tour cos of the low power I got from the radical.

2) Control? Any one of them better? I always go back to my 18 x 20 racquets after trying out any 16 x 19's. Will the 16 x 20 on the 98 feel more like a 16 x 19 or in between I guess?

3) The reason I switched to a 100 headsize from a 95 is cos well at a recreational level I needed more room for error. Too hard to maintain focus specially against hard hitters hence love the Tour. Is the sweetspot of the 98 comparable to the Tour 18 x 20?

I always have loved 18 x 20 set ups and wish the Rebel 98 was the same.

I can't compare the two but I can say the Rebel 98 feels more like a 95 than a 100 as far as the head size. It has a very oval shaped head, not round like the tour. I was shanking returns left and right with it!
