new rackets coming out!

hey everyone
theres a ton of new sticks coming out on TW such as the flexpoint prestige
the o3 hybrids from prince and that new racket they're designing for blake. Theres also the yonex RDS series, and supposedly the new wilson sticks the nblade and the new npro surge or something. I was just wondering which ones you think will be the best this year, and if you think any of these new technologies that they are putting in rackets actually work. Any of you planning on buying any of these new ones? i'm sure there are going to be plenty more, so keep your eyes open!

all i know is that i want to try out the New Flexpoint Heat from Head

I'm pretty sure whatever the pros are using (or supposedly using) will be the best sellers again this year. If Roger Federer gets a new racquet this year it will become an instant best seller again.

There seems to be an expanding difference this year between Player's racquets and Tweeners. Player's racquets seem to be moving up to the 12oz. mark (FP Prestige, DNX10) and Tweeners down towards 11oz. The RDS actually lost weight compared to its' older RDX sibling.

More of the tweeners also seem to be standardizing on a 100sq. in headsize which I think is great since that's the range I play in. There's a lot of choices this year: O3 White, RDS003, Volkl DNX8 all of which I plan to at least demo.

You're right. The RDS midsize is heavier. The RDS MP, OTOH, is .2 oz lighter than the RDX MP.

Despite all the new technology etc, the good old sticks like trusty Prince Graphite will NEVER go away! Even Vince Spadea uses it depsite given free 03 tour.
