Head also did the Yonex Isometric shape with the Boom.
This one has 8 mains in the throat, mid-60 flex, beam width is not listed yet.
It will come down to the price tag placement. Will it be Prince, Dunlop range or all the way above 250€ - no no?

No many will drop $$ on something unproven.
I could be wrong.. but story has been told time and time again.
Put one in the hands of a top 10 ATP would help with sales...
I'd love the know the unit sales increase # of the PA98 after today's victory..

Per my other thread, adding Nordicdots Model99 to the list of frames still yet to release in 2024:

Apparently Swedish company Nordicdots, who make racquet sports clothing and padel and pickleball paddles, are planning to release tennis racquets in the coming months. The first racquet will be "Model99" – not sure if that is just the name for the prototype, or if it will persist into retail...

not sure what the big deal is. some shops already have this racquet. not sure what the release date is but saw them today. its a different racquet than rf97 at only 300g. think dark charcoal grey brown/tan grip

Why don't you take a picture next time and show it to us? If it's not a big deal for you, it can be for others who haven't seen it yet.

I'm really interested in the marketing strategy and angle Wilson will use to sell this.

On July 24, 2024, Diadem will be introducing a new oversize line called The Dream that will come in 105 and 110 headsizes. The frame is white in color and the promo claims it will be powerful and comfortable. I got a promo email from the company earlier this week.

A new brand called Master Athletics is introducing 2 tennis racquets (and other non-tennis products, e.g., pickleball and paddle tennis). The tennis racquets - there are 2 models a T100 and a T100 Lite) are designed to be highly customizable with weights provided by the manufacturer that can be applied to different areas of the frame.

Every post on this has been deleted, but the word was that this was going to be "Released" to coincided with RFs birthday in August.

And apparently 3 versions too.

You wouldn’t believe it but the best paying isometric shaped frame I’ve used is the most underrated Babolat of all time...the Pure Power (swirly) is a cheat code! Thin 22mm frame on a slightly oversized head is unreal! Ultra tight mains with mean spin ...low key wish it took off instead of the PD / APD - PA

yeah I am just kinda surprised that no photos have been leaked yet as several shops should have these already all the demos have already been strung and are ready to go. I think the placard on the one i was looking at said 300g 9pts HL.

One thing I would wonder about, wonder if sales are down due to inflated prices. I also remember from when I used to buy a lot of my cycling gear from the UK that prices were a lot better, and from what some had said it was due to folks having less disposable income overseas. Not sure how valid that is, but if consumers in more of a crunch now it could be a reason why. Regardless, point stands that stuff is usually cheaper.

For the Prostaffs though, I'd definitely wonder if they're not selling well (hardly any relevant players endorsing them), and maybe they would try to clear out stock in hopes that new RF line improves things. I'm definitely curious about the rumored 320g. Sounds like a 16x19, but if it has denser pattern in the middle it would probably be something I want to try.

Where did you find Blades V9 were 40% off? I only saw V8 are on sale.

No photo, but had the RF version in hand today. 98", 320g, leather grip, and slightly wider beam width than RF97. Matte black with silver accents.

yeah that's it. The one i was looking at was the RF01. In hand you will see that it's a dark charcoal gray and texture with white pinstripe RF lettering. it looks good but it is a different racquet than RF97

weirdly kinda looks like Nishikori's newer frame - gives kind of a bigger headed Prestige Tour vibe in terms of the frame geometry etc...

For me this is feeling like Pure Aero 98. Aero beam, dense 16x19 string pattern. It will probably be stiff. Wilson doesn’t really have anything like Aero 98, but strange to be associated with RF in my opinion.

the throat has that same Pure Strike style throat, sort of a more aerodynamic box beam though, not an Aero style throat - but yeah I don't really understand the RF association
