Judging by what's cycling around the big updates will be Pure Drive, Ezone, new Gravity Radical and Prestige updates, Clash/Ultra from Wilson, T-Fight, Dunlop SX300

Don't know about you all, but I am waiting and spreading the word for Head to bring back Prestige classic 102 with below specs: (If head wants to stay in the game)
Ok so a Head Prestige with below specs:
100 or 102 sq inch head size,
21-22mm beam,
16 x19 pattern, RA flex between 58 - 62, not a point more,
strung balance 6-8pts head light,
strung swing weight exactly 321 or not more than 325.
This will sell like hot cakes and will bring head prestige brand back in the game.
Why did they release a classic 2.0 with 93 head size. They should fire that guy.
There was a classic Head Prestige with 102 head size back in the day, but they killed it.
In today's game to stand against heavy topspin, you need 100 or 102 at least (recreational one handed backhand 4.0 - 4.5 folks).

Those specs look really close to the MP-L... And still more control oriented at 99sqin and for a Prestige, is bigger than expected. Maybe something in the Radical silo would make more sense for a 102, considering the Prestige name is not about "easy to use" racquet.
So, no hopefully the Prestige still be a prestige without anymore adds and explore other options in other silos even Gravity is close to that with some mods

I've always been intrigued by that 102in prestige, and have wondered whether the it was actually a 99 given head used to include the outer hoop for headsize measurements. It might make sense given prestiges we're listed at 95s later on. If so, OP already got what he asked for!

From 2018 or some year around they completely change the head measure system and from now on is equivalet to the other brands so if x racquet says 99 sq in is a 99 sq in...

yeah he's asking if the old Prestige Tour 660 was actually 99sqin given it is from the time they were measuring 95 as 98 and 89.5 as 93

We all have our expectations and would love to see releases of things we want, at least currently want because we racquetoholics jump from flower to flower or in this case from release to release or "wants" to "wants".
You have every right to your own opinion but IMHO you really wrote a ludicrous one there...
Why the Mid? Because that one has the cult following. It's the one which has a lot of the crowd's sentiment.
Head has released its most iconic frames with the most potential to sell.

I often wonder if the Ultra will be updated.. or shelved for a few years then brought back as a price point frame... aka like the Burn..
Which lines sell best for Wilson ? For Babolat it is most likely Pure Aero and Pure Drive.

One would think the Ultra would be popular but I have a feeling the Clash sells far better.

It depend on the year and what's currently new.
Pro Staffs and Clashes were best sellers. Blades did come up but not as often as the other two.

According to Rackets & Runners in 2023, The Blade 16x19 was Wilson's best selling racquet (in their store)

I´ve been present on a racquet testing day this Saturday...Babolat was there too with 4 grayed out racquets where one of them is the new 2025 PD. Identified quite easily, 2 other racquets were lighter so some "team" version with 280g whatever...
The 2025 PD seemed to me a little less harsh than the current one but otherwise nothing stood out to me whatsoever. Power frame, easy depth and spin. Interesting was the last of the 4 frames, it had 16x20 pattern and red grommets at 12 position...definitely some kind of 98/VS version, the guy didn´t want to tell me anything about this one :)

I must admit that I am no PD user by any means, that´s why my "review" is so lame...even if someone gave me this new PD I would sell it straight away without even playing with it.

It's already posted here a few posts above.

EDIT - the photos were seen in the thread "Babolat Pure Drive 2024 Official Thread" so sorry for the confusion. But as I´ve just checked, the were deleted from there...

I wasn´t allowed to make any pictures but just exchange the current blue for a lighter sky blue paint and that´s it. Also the written font is slightly different but overall no dramatic change at all. I´m sure that you can find the pics somewhere on the web as the guys in the other thread put it there already.

New TFight coming: 305, 300 and others......

New weight distribution, new frame section.....
Please post specs on the 305 please. Beam, Sw, balance.

Would be helpful as I’m in the market for either keeping my 305 iso, upgrading to the new tfight or going with gravity pro

Yeap. Lower SWs in the whole lineup.
That's unfortunate. The high SW with the fast swing speed due to the aerodynamic beam is what helped make the TFight so special. Tons of spin with awesome plow through that felt so much lighter than it while it is in the air.

Yeap. But they are loosing customers due to the high SW. Most club players can’t use medvedevs racquet. Their marketing team heard those complaints and are making changes. They must found a way to produce stable racquets with low SWs like other companies do nowadays.

Maybe it will be better than the current version …
