New Setup RF97A

I wanted to switch from my 90 BLX to a larger head size and I was wondering if this setup would be good:

Racket: Wilson Prostaff 97 Autograph
String: Full Bed KLIP Legend 16
Tension: 60lbs
Overgrip: Yonex Super Grap

I actually want to try the high power that comes from a full gut, if it's too much I will use a hybrid on the next string job
Also should I use babolat string savers?

Thanks

I was a Prestige Pro guy for years (strung with full ALU Power at 59). I made the switch to the RF97A a year and a half ago (the all-black model) and found out quickly, I needed to lower the tension. Currently I'm using hybrid ALU Power in the mains and plain synthetic in the crosses...all at 52 lbs. I'm playing the best tennis of my life...for me, the lower tension in the RF97 has been the ticket. I don't use string savers. Just my 2 cents. I'm a 4.5/5.0 player. Best of luck!

Owning 3 of these and trying a few different string setups, I'll say that in terms of control, feel, and power, Babolat VS (or any natural gut) in the mains and Luxilon Alu Power Rough crosses was the best. For the more economical and spin friendly setup, I did Volkl Cyclone in the mains at 48-51 pounds and then V-Feel (Multi-filament) in the crosses at 53-55 pounds.

Frankly on such a stiff tacquet, I would not tense that much...
I just tested it with wilson revolve 17 and it was quite all right (perfect on volleys)
By the way, if anybody reads me, any advice on string setup for RF97 is welcome (I string usually in the low 50)

with the RF... it depends on what type of player you are... if you hit a lot of spin a lower tension... if you dont a higher tension will be better.. but if youre going full bed gut... i would put it at a really high tension.. 65+ or your balls will sail on you....
