Hi there!
After playing 1 1/2 year with the Wilson Shift 300 i'm thinking to switch at the end of this year so i'm lookin for a few sticks to try out.
What I like about the Shift:
- The looks (duh)
- The feel when hitting spinny shots
- Volleys
What I dislike about the Shift:
- The sweetspot is a bit too small for my 3 year tennis experience
- The inconsistency of my shots (spraying and hitting long)
- The feel when you hit flat
What i'm looking for in my next racket:
Bigger sweetspot (willing to sacrifice if the racket plays great overall)
Good quality racket
Some help on serve and spin
Good manoeuvrability in double play and allcourt singles play
Good looks
I'm thinking to try out the next rackets:
Babolat Pure Aero (really curious how it plays)
Yonex vcore/ezone 98's and 100's
My current setup is a stock shift 300 with leather grip strung with pacific poly power pro black mains and wilson sgx pink crosses
