New Stiga Racquet

Stiga is one of the classic Table Tennis brands!

The shape would be a nice idea for a tennis racket!
This has been done so many times and never caught on...
rs.php

Bosworth is still selling theirs....

With cash to buy a lot size of 5000... mostly anyone can have a tennis racket made with your decals and paint scheme to your liking..
Tough part is the other logistics thereafter once you take ownership..

We have to wait until September 15th, zooming into the throat area makes resolution worse and can't read the specs, oh wait! @Hankenstein could share the specs with us!!! Hope the beam width is no more than 24mm.

EDIT: I'd like to read some feedback about how the Stiga Supreme feels at low-to-medium level of intensity hitting from the baseline. This could be a way to simulate tennis players like me who can't hit as fast as Henrik, who are actually the majority of the market pie, I guess.

Simon Freund hitting with the Stiga Supreme. The guy seems to make contact towards to the top of the hoop and still hitting great. Then switches to a Blade.

Beam width?
Swingweight?
Or the Stiga rep/contact doesn't know?

I got 319 strung swingweight on the frame. Strung with RS Lyon 1,25.

Beam width i did not measure but i estimate to be 23 to 25´ish mm. The overall look of the mold is Pure Drive original. I had a very brief hit yesterday at a club practice but the balls used was "dead" so i will test with new balls soon and update you guys. I got two frames to try of the 300 grams and i have modified one with 6 grams silicone and 5 grams lead at 3 and 9 as well so i can try stock and customized.

I also got a 270 gram light version that just screams customize me :)

Curious to see the price tag, because you see there's Artengo and Dunlop whose rackets cost 110€ and much less than 180€ respectively. Diadems are 220€ and 200€ with some discount codes from YouTubers. Is, for exampe, the Stiga Supreme going to be double as good as the Artengo TR990 Pro in stock form with a price tag around 220€? I really hope they will put a reasonable price tag on their series, so that people can choose Stiga. Otherwise, for a price difference of 30-50€, I don't see how one, who's not even reading this forum, is going to pick a new brand over a Big5 brand - who, I believe overprice their rackets.

Logical from a sales point of view (tweeners sell better overall) but seriously? Another Pure Drive clone? Bleeeeeh!

That’s the first thing I thought - when I saw the thread title I thought I was imagining things!

2.5mm thicker beam than my Diadem Nova at 9 and 3. Stiffness/RA is not listed, but I'd guess it's up there at high 60s. Cosmetics look great.
Stiffness: 68 +/-5

I can't express how much of a disappointment this bag of BS is...
They put out a Pure Drive clone and claim that it was developed in Sweden - maybe the pj and marketing bull...
The amount of idiocy in the "tech" descriptions makes my head hurt...
The price is a cherry on top... 220 Euro...

If this is a dampened and softer Pure Drive then maybe some racketoholics will buy this, but I won't be surprised if these will be on sale within a year due to lack of sales...

Who on earth would use a racket with a 26mm beam in the first place...

I dont like the +/- 7g and balance +/- 7mm for a top price racquet. SW can be all over the place.
Only a Stiga Supreme - Diadem Nova side-by-side comparison could lead to some first good impressions.
I'm more into smaller headsizes now that require more of my own power and offer much more precision.
