With the name of Rapture I can't tell if you're being serious or not. In any case though, sounds like some interesting strings are in the works. No, what you describe is Babolat Rapture. Coming in 5 to 6 mos.

How long before they name a string: Or ga sm?With the name of Rapture I can't tell if you're being serious or not. In any case though, sounds like some interesting strings are in the works.
No. BC has a single monofilament core; this is multi-core construction. Is this just a softer version of black code?
I may be a naive loyal true Tecnifibre fan, but somehow I have LOTS OF RESPECT for a new innovative flagship poly string from Tecnifibre. It sounds like tecnifibre is revolutionizing the string industry. Kind of like Prince recoil and Wilson Hollowcore said they would when they first came out. Hopefully, they will give out samples. Lots of them
tht was so childish yet pretty funny lol....How long before they name a string: Or ga sm?
Is it in your posession ?
I won't be able to give my thoughts before next week, sorry Guys!Is it in your posession ?
If so, then please report back ASA on how the X-code plays and performs for you !!!
looks like a classical round shapeSo it's a multi-layered poly. Interesting.
Is it just the traditional round shape or is it profiled like BC?
Please hurry up then and test this new string :lol:I won't be able to give my thoughts before next week, sorry Guys!

Sounds intriguing. Technifibre's multi's are among the best. X-code could be a huge boost for the rest of the line.Just played a few hours with the x-code. It moves a bit (something between a multi and mono). I don't think it will last very long, but it's a very special string, for sure. Very good power / control ratio with unique comfort.
How bad was the string movement ?I got 2 sets from my local shop and broke both at 7 and 8 hour mark. Strange thing cuz i RARELY break strings. I strung them @ 26/25 kg on my pdr and pdgt (i think i'll stay with multis on this frames). Found lots and lots of control (could have strung it lower easily) and nice pop. My shoulder was ok which was a priority. I'll order another set and put it on my rdis300. Should get even more control, still nice power and maybe gain some durability. I'll string it lower, thinking 24/23kg.
Wrong.Official release date - September or October.
I have seen it listed on multiple US based retailers with an in-stock date listed as September (next week).Wrong.
It's already available from TWE and a well known string retailer in the UK.
Our Tec rep stated that the official release date will coincide with the start of the USOpen. We just received our stock to meet those dates.I have seen it listed on multiple US based retailers with an in-stock date listed as September (next week).
I suspect ClubHoUno may have seen the US release date quoted as I have always found him to be a good poster.
How is the string looking/feeling and what is the price point? ThanksOur Tec rep stated that the official release date will coincide with the start of the USOpen. We just received our stock to meet those dates.

KC, Please see post #39 for the details so far. The string is black in color and feels very soft. Have not received the official prices from Tec but looks like it will be in the $16-18 range. I am stringing up my racquet today with the 16g and will be testing tonight, along with the 17g in the PS6.1 95 (16x19).How is the string looking/feeling and what is the price point? ThanksKC
