Back at it again. Finally bought a gorillapod to record some tennis.

Very satisfied with both the gorillapod and the new racquet!

Critiques on the tennis, video-on-fence positioning, attire, etc. are very welcome! Always willing to try new things

Nice hitting and good video angle.

But really if you are running back because you got burned on a lob and say "oh no" you got to do it in the Barry White ranges not the tinkerbell ranges!!

And did I hear a guy complaining because his wife didnt notice his hair??? What???

And for the love of God man why are you hitting with the wrong hand??

I watched the first video, I think your split step might be a little on the late side? I can't put my finger on it but somehow it looks like your jump is quite high and you land just a little later than you need to...

Thanks for the insight! I'll keep that in mind next time I hit.

Haha one of my friends on the next court was wondering if anyone noticed his hair cut.

As for the hand, I'm trying to hit like my man @LeeD ;)

Lefty power!

Decent looking strokes but I'd probably go for a little bit more knee bend and torso coil for your mini-tennis. Yeah, I realize that a lot of players don't bend their knees very much for mini-tennis or for their warmup strokes. But, at least, coil your torso a bit more -- as Justine does here (even tho her FH takeback is more compact for mini-tennis than it is at the baseline):

Ughhh, stole my comment. ;)

Nice, relaxed motion and good shape. Just keep practicing to be as fluid as possible, the maybe start working on increasing RHS with a quicker, more explosive release. You do it a few times, so could just be the more casual hitting session, so in that case just keep swinging and getting reps. Cheers.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll do my best to get those knees to bend haha

Thanks for watching! I'll keep working on being a little more explosive every time. Cheers. :D

Nice strokes. A little lead will make that PS really come alive.
Thanks! I used to lead up my aero pro drive, but I've been enjoying the stock pure strike so much that I haven't thought too much about it. Maybe a lil bit at 12 and in the handle would be good.

Looks like you may be shovelling the two hander a bit for lack of a better term (at least it looks that way on select backhands at 0.25 speed). I think you can get more power and spin out of your backhand if you go for some more fluidity and less rigidity like on your forehand (which is really nice from what I can see).
