Aside from the different font used in the word "Pro Staff" on the throat of the latest Wilson Prostaff 6.0 85 sold currently at TW, what other differences are there from the early 1990s versions of the Wilson Prostaff 6.0 85 (I assume Taiwan)?

Also, anyone know why the change in font?

I have cayman for sell same racket lighter and 100% graphite not to mention much cheaper, plastic on handle.

If you do a search you will fined the time line, just slightly different weighting with the Staff being 100% graphite, feels better, more feel, more flex, ect

The ones they make now just aren't the same

The Taiwan has a glossy paint finish compared to the China version. The Taiwan version will normally come with a white buttcap. The Taiwan also has a three -piece grommet in the throat while the China has a one-piece grommet for the throat. Towards the bottom of the head of the racquet it'll say "85 sq in" on the China version and it will not say this on the Taiwan version. Inside the throat label, if it says manufactured by Chiao Ta, it's probably a China.
