i am in the market for more PS97s, as mine are kind of beatup and i probably will need some new racquets in the near future.
my LTS said that the all black PS97 and tuxedo PS97 are slightly different and if i wanted to match my 2016 red and black PS97s with one of the newer models i would have to play around with leadtape and string tension, as Wilson modified the frames slightly and they are not exactly the same as the previous versions
it is not just the paintjob that is different. the grommet holes are different, so you have to get
the exact revision, its on your racquet, to get the proper grommet strips.
in addition, he said the Wilson rep told him another interation of the PS97 is coming out at the end of the year, so perhaps i should wait for the latest version.
