Went to my local store today and the Head rep was there. He told me the new XT Prestiges were coming out in January! I have to say, these new Prestiges look AWESOME! They are a matte black with black cap grommets and the words "Prestige" written in white and red. When I asked about the Prestige Pro (what I play) he said they moved the weight more to the head and handle and reduced the overall weight about .2 ozs. He said they are a little more forgiving and powerful than the previous versions. Oh, and still no leather grip!

... Manufacturers seriously need to STOP taking weight out of TRADITIONALLY weighted racquets.
I don't care about the modern racquet movement, but a proper Prestige is 12ounces and then some.
If you're going to make a Prestige and take out the weight, what's the point? Why do they still bother with the Radical and Speed lines?

According to the rep they lowered the static weight in order to keep the SW the same since they moved more weight to the head. I'm with you though, why mess up a good thing? We will see how they play though. The old schoolers will not like the new colors, as this was not the classic look. I personally loved it though. Can't believe they made it all black with just some red and white accents!

My son has been hitting with the new Prestige Pro for about 2 weeks. He currently is using the current Radical MP. There is no comparison. He hits so much better with the Prestige Pro. Racket says 11.1oz unstrung, 1inHL, and 16X19 string pattern. 22 beam.
He never has hit with a Prestige before so can't compare to previous versions. All I know is he is hitting with a lot more control versus Radical. I string his Radical at 54#s with Big Banger. The Prestige Pro is strung with Sonic Pro Edge at 50#s. His hitting coach got the racket. No idea who he got it from but my son loves it. Will be moving to it when it comes out. Just a quick review that I thought he would share.

Yea I was expecting him to sail some shots with the lower tension but it was the opposite. He's 15 now so maybe it's time too upgrade to a heavier racket. He had no issues hitting late. If anything, his timing was better with the Prestige Pro.

Yes, it is. All I want is the Prestige Mid but instead they discontinued it for the abomination that is the Graphene Prestige Rev Pro.
