I can't tell you how excited I am to announce this new racket. The new racket that Tiafoe and Wawrinka are already using is the new Green, Emerald Vcore Pro. Some exciting changes are coming to this racket I am excited to announce.
SORRY, EVERYONE!!!! I DIDN'T NOTICE THAT I TYPED 11/23 INSTEAD OF 8/23, I WAS LOOKING UO THE RELEASE OF ANOTHER RACKET MY DEAREST APOLOGIES.
Changes:

  • NEW 18 x 20 STRING PATTERN!!!!
  • New pallet dampening technology inside the actual pallet of the racket that dampens the harmful vibrations while preserving the vibrations that provide actual feedback
  • Lightened the heavier version to 320g for the 18 x 20 while the 16 x 9 is still 330g
  • New Jade, Golden color (cannot send pics due to what happened last time with head gravity but Mains and Crosses Instagram story has some pics)
Coming out soon!!!! ask questions and I will try to respond as much as possible.

NOTICE: THESE PICTURES ARE NOT MINE. I GOT THEM FROM A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE WHO I WILL NOT BE DISCLOSING. I DO NOT OWN THESE PICTURES AND IF ANYONE ASKS FOR THEM TO BE TAKEN DOWN I WILL.

We already have a fair bit of discussion in the old VCore Pro thread, including the pics of Tiafoe's stick. None of this is new other than possible release date, I think even the pallet stuff was mentioned.

Seems odd to have the release date so far out with guys showcasing the new paint already though. Are we going to see the 16x19 ones drop first, then the 18x20 later in November? Doesn't make much sense considering the pro season is basically over by then, it's also indoor season for a lot of people. No pro tennis and less outside tennis = hard to get hyped for new racquets.

I'm not opposed to any of this information if it is true. I would gladly welcome an 18x20 Yonex frame
I've heard from enough people about an 18x20 so I'd say it's confirmed at this point.

Very excited to try one, although a potential November release date is odd.

Why wait until November? For most of us, our tennis season is over by then. Not everyone plays indoors over the winter. Someone in the marketing dept. needs to be fired.

Exactly my point. Other guys in the VCore Pro thread are saying US Open time though. That makes a helluva lot more sense, so let's go with that for now.

Sounds like typical Yonex.
They often make radical changes to new frame so this frame might not have any resemblance of Duel G or vcore pro....

im reluctant to say yes/no on this 18/20
im gonna have to wait and try it myself
im experiencing "bad vibrations", from the latest vcore95 16/20
and the last few models of the vcore 97s have been a bit too firm for me
maybe its just me??!!,
the frame shape and/or the mass of the frame is not co-operating very well, when hit off center shots with FB poly
im having to lower the tension a bit too low (low 40s), and/or put softer strings

The 320g version has me intrigued. I've always enjoyed the 330g versions, as they're much more solid in the throat area than the 310 versions, but they've been just a bit too sluggish for me at times. 320g sounds perfect.

Actually, I've experienced the same with the VCP97s. I wouldn't call it stiff, but some unpleasant vibrations. The Duel G, when set up in a 16x19 pattern, were super plush. No vibrations at all. I haven't felt that type of vibration in the VC95, but in stock form there isn't enough plow for me. I have to work to get backhand returns past the service line. When adding a 3g at 12, things click again: more depth and pace - and the racket becomes more plush. I forgot to put my TE brace on today, but had no arm issues with the VC95. I can see how it can be a deceptive frame though, as I have one strung w PTP and the other w V-star. PTP gives me more bite on the ball and pace, but I also can feel that adding a few pounds more tension would jeopardize the arm health. Btw when strung in the mid 40s, I have no issues with either the VCP97 or VC95.

I hope the new VCore Tour can bring back the feel I like from the Duel G, in a 320g package, pref. 16x19.

yup, its something very suttle that ive notised since im using 3 models so far
I usually string the vcore.tour.g 97 at 49/46, 16/20 pattern, FB poly
I usually string the vcore, duel,g 97 at 48/45, 16/20 pattern (modified), FB poly
I just strung the vcore.95 at 53/50, 16/20 with FB lux.SMART (a very.soft copoly/blend; normally I would go mid to high 50s on 97" racquets)

I like the tight pattern of the yonex rakets and the shape swing very well through the air with the 1HBH
I prefer the 18/20 patterns at lower tensions, sooo im kinda-exited to try this new model, but not if its going to be harsh

What I dislike about the 330 is that it leaves so little room for adjustments; install a different grip +5-10 grams (Yonex stock crap is so light), 2 grams at 12. Than you are basically going over 340 grams already...

Would be nicer with glossy paint I think, but still looks great. Hyped about the 18x20. Not sure if it will be the right fit for me, but I'm excited to give it a try.

Haven't ya'll heard of a little thing called the AO? (Just yet another reason to like Yonex; marketing respect for the antipodean summertime baby yeah!!)

Cool, I'm intrigued by this frame. I'm hoping the flex rating will be no more than 62 or 63. Pallet Damping technology is a new term. What is a Pallet with regards to a tennis racquest?
