Hello, i'm a 38 year old male who's looking to get back on the court. I have not played in years but my kids are getting alittle older and i have some more me time:). I played in high school and was pretty decent. I used a prince spectrum comp 110 and really loved that stick. So my question is i'm looking for some racket advice. I have a medium swing(not to long or short) and love playing singles and love the base line shots. I intend to demo some rackets but with the wealth of knowledge here i thought it prudent to ask for your opinion. I like prince, babolat and wilson but am open for any imput. Like i said i do intend to demo some but need help narrowing down the field.
Thanks for any help.

yea, 100 to 105 sq in
If you're willing to go down to 102" or 100", that opens more possibilities. Not sure of the specs of your old racquet (you might be able to find those online if you search) but generally speaking a frame that isn't too light and one with a balance that's at least slightly head-light. There's a few Head frames that you might like - the Head YouTek Radical Pro or OS - Princes - Prince O3 Speedport MP - Babolats - Pure Drive GT. The Prince Graphite Classic OS (http://www.princetennis.com/tennis/files/product.aspx?cid=256&ProductId=568)
might be close. Definitely demo as much as you can.

Not to send this thread completely offtrack nor to get it moved to another forum....but I am expecting a kid sometime end of June. Can I pretty much kiss whatever time I spend on the tennis court goodbye for a few years??

Not sure, don't have any. But this is definitely one of the reasons I've decided not to have any. I'm selfish and I know it.

I am in the same boat. Time to put away your gear. :)

Finding time for yourself is tuff! It didn't help that my wife was in grad school but she's done now and it's a little better. Congrats on the up in coming bundle of joy and kiss your fun goobye, lol!

Many rackets are on sale now at TW. You might be interested in checking that out. All the best, Tina.
