I know there's and existing thread, but it doesn't reflect the new Zoom Zeroes. I wanted to create a new thread to discuss the new color schemes and peoples experiences, thoughts and comments with this shoe.

I have owned three pairs of the Zeroes. The Zoom Zeroes were the first pair of tennis shoes I've ever worn, bought and played in. Prior to that I used to wear basketball shoes, for the ankle support. I have to say these are some of the best shoes I've ever played a sport in. Wearing them really makes me feel like a professional tennis player. They are extremely light and nimble has hell, I don't even notice I have them on. When I'm on the courts, I feel very quick to shots. The soles have proven to be durable and the overall shoe is holding up well.

Full disclosure, I did have to send back my Flax colored (orange) Zeroes because the one eyelet straps broke where the laces go. I contacted Nike, sent them back and the refunded me right away. They would have replaced them, but the color was out of stock. Overall I am a big fan of this shoe and I'll most likely be buying the neon color scheme as well.

I love the Volt colorway but REALLY wish that the blue color was a men's colorway. Blue is my favorite color but sadly, these don't go large enough for me to get a women's shoe. I'll probably try the Volt colorway when I finally get a chance to try them on at a shop near me who actually has them in stock.

I would have like to have seen them in blue also. I have a feeling Nike isn’t done with the Zoom Zeroes. There will be more color schemes in the future. They’ve already released 5 different versions in the men’s alone.

I'm hoping to see an all-black colorway (including midsole and outsole) with a bright swoosh and "Nikecourt" lettering! That would be a day 1 purchase.

I honestly don’t know. I’ve always played in basketball shoes, prior to getting these. I normally wear a size 13 and I went with 14 with these. They’re very comfortable, I don’t have the “putting them on” trouble that so many people speak of.

Yes I am almost a Zero convert now. I broke down and bought a pair with my daughter. I initially hated the fit and thought I wasted my money. It was uncomfortably tight in the upper of forefoot area, the shoe pronated too much for me and the curvature of the front foot was hurting my big toe. I switched to my old used aftermarket insole and just broke it in a bit. Then it was comfortable! I wish they didn't have that HUGE "NIKE COURT" on the side as a design. It does sit higher than a Vapor X and even the Cage 3 hunkers down more. The cushioning is excellent, the best I've had from Nike.
Front toe area is tough enough for a light weight shoe. Traction is very good. Support and stability is also very good.
My criticisms are:
1. the shoe doesn't bend at my toes uniformly like a shoe with foam mids do. The Air Zoom cushioning prevents it from naturally following my toes bending.
2. It's heavier than the Air Cage 3, so it's not a lightweight "game day" shoe.
3. yet looking at the wear I put in with 3 semi-rigorous sets of doubles with D1 players, I don't think it'll last as long as the Cage 3, so neither is it a "every court session" shoe.

I think I'll relegate the Zeros for non-PlexiCushion/Pave hard courts, when cushioning is most important. Give me the cushioning, with the durability and lightweight of the Cage 3, and it will be an unbeatable shoe.

Like everyone else's complaints, The forefoot area is super tight and does hurt your feet. What I ended up doing is cutting a small slit in the middle of the forefoot wrap-around area to relieve the tightness and it works like a charm. The shoes are now super comfortable from all areas.

Agreed, gives me ideas about changing my laces to different color also. I’m getting a new pair soon, debating on the new volt color or the black. I really like the original black pair, they remind me of a Killer Whale

They’re probably great feeling man those things are ffuuuugggllly.

That's cool, not everyone will agree, everyone certainly entitled to their opinion. For me these were my first pair of actual "Tennis" shoes, the comfort and mobility I have wearing them, I couldn't be happier.

It is all good.

In a couple of years you will know better.

So after three DIFFERENT pairs of the Zoom Zeroes I going to have to look for a new pair of tennis shoes. Twice now the eyelet on the shoes has broken. I really, really liked this shoe and even defended it, but after all this I'm very disappointed with the durability. I don't think I want to try another pair of Zeroes, maybe I'll do some research and look I'll into Nike Vapor or Cage. :(

I don’t know that you need to alter these shoes at all. Give them some time to form to your foot and don’t overtighten the laces. They also get easier to get into over time. Love these shoes.

Does the sizing run similar to yonex or past nikes ?? I was wondering if should buy true to size or 1/2 size bigger ? I usually wear size 9 on Yonex shoes.

and does the shoe break in ? When brand new, it is very tough to get into, I am wondering if it gets any easier as you wear them more ?

where do I buy this colorway ?

It’s not a new colorway, they just changed the laces from black to yellow. They’re constantly coming out with new colors though.

Also someone asked earlier about break in. This shoe doesn’t need any break in. I normally wear a 13 in Nike and choose to go with a 14. I had no problems getting into the shoe. For some reason for me, Nike tennis shoes run smaller.

what does that mean ? you normally wear 13 in nike but choose to go with 14 ???????? does that mean you have to buy 2 sizes bigger if buying Air Zoom zeros ?

No, not at all. I would go up a half size if you can. I went one full size because there isn’t a 13.5. I’m glad I did though, the size 14 fits well.

what shoe do you normally wear ?? would you go up 1/2 size even if you worn nike before ? does this particular model air zoom zero need to go up 1/2 size ?

I wear a size 13 in almost all my Nike shoes. I would recommend going up a half size with the Zoom Zeroes. Shoes are always difficult to size, because everyone is so different. I needed a full size to be comfortable, you may only need a half size.

so if you wear size 9 normally even in Nike, I should buy 9 and 1/2, right ? that makes sense since this shoe does look bit narrow. and I was worried because this shoe is so hard to get into... Does it get easier to get into them as you wear them more and they break in ?

I would go 9.5. It does get easier, also I find that it’s good to be sitting down when you put them on.

Anyone know if Nike is going to have a version of the Zero for each of the Slams this year? They had one for The Oz Open, as NIKECOURT on the inside of the heel was replaced with MELBOURNE. Are they going to have PARIS, LONDON, and NEW YORK versions?
