Hi
Who can recommend full size racquet for my boy 13 yo, slim frame, 4'10" tall, very athletic, perfect pitcher, now in tennis business.. He likes internally Nadal line, but I think it could be too stiff for him.
We're looking for max 300g weight and 4+ HL .

Thanks
Mario

Head Gravity MP falls in this category and would likely suit him well. 295g and lower flex, but still hits a good ball. My son almost switched to this, but chose radical MP instead. A couple other kids he plays tournament a with use the gravity

Sounds like he just started with tennis? From that and his height, I'd say 26" frame would be better for now. OTOH, he'll probably hit a growth spurt, soon...

Prince textreme tour 290 is a great option and $130 at the moment.

For a 13yo budding junior, you want 1) requisite spin/power/control balance, 2) easy enough to swing, 3) arm-healthy.

I'd go with a 98-100" head, 290-305g, semi-open pattern, strung swing weight 315-325, 62-68RA, <=145Hz, 22+mm beam.

At those specs, here are the best options for something around 4 points head-light strung (per your request):
- Babolat Pure Aero (latest one is usually just comfortable enough)
- Head Boom MP '22
- Head Speed MP '22
- Prince Textreme Tour 100 290 ('19 or '22)
- Prince Twistpower X100
- Tecnifibre TFight 300 RS
- Yonex EZone 100 (2022)
- Yonex VCore Pro 100 (2021)

Thanks much to all for info for your help !!!!
We decided to with adult size, our coach says that we're good for that.

I surprised to see Prince on the list, looking at TV you can not see Prince anymore, I thought that they kinda moved from active arena for pros/tours players.
on **** Prince still is expensive, while on TW it really only $130 for Textreme!! Thanks @baowow

My 12 yr old uses the black/green Dunlop SX300 series which comes in 270 and 285g versions. You can hunt around and get them on sale very competitively.

Thanks all again !!!
Just got DIADEM Nova, saw it, tried it, my son was impressed with coolness and quality of the play its holder show him. I know it's all subjective, but overall this is 100% Quality product, in south many coaches/camps recommend it.

DIADEM NOVA

Hi Seth,
Please break down this metaphor <It’ll put hair on his chest>, can't get it -)

Tecnifibre TRebound Tempo Iga is another good choice. Very open string pattern and is prob even more spin friendly than the Pure Aero
