Next Gen Finals

From what I've read around the Net, there are mixed feelings about this. I'm looking forward to it because I want to get to know the next generation of players.

1. If it comes down to Zverev v. Shapovalov in the final, who do you think will win and why?
2. If it's not these two, who do you see in the final?

Zverev will probably choose to play the real finals.

I see something like Rublev and Shapo, with Shapo winning handily and proving himself going into next year.

If Alex actually plays there (he said he wanted to but he's been cut out of some of the promos the past few weeks) he definitely wins it. The only player I can see standing a chance against him is Coric but not because he's the better player, but because he seems to have a mental advantage against Zverev.

Besides Z, I have either Borna, Angrey or Shampoo in the final.

I didn't know Sasha is no longer in the promos. In fact, I've never even seen a promo! Oh well, guess I'm not as with it as some here, LOL.
I make terrible predictions, so I'll just read and learn.

Sets are first to 4 games, tie-breaks at 3 all, no advantage etc

It's a crap shoot - anyone can win

I hope the tournament is a failure... I take it as being an experiment for these rules, which I do not want to see get a toe in to world tennis

Regarding Zverev. .. he had said earlier in the year that he wanted to play both Finales

Would be funny if he won the WTF but bombed out at the Next Gen one.... the latter is more likely

There's no guarantee Nadal or Federer could beat relatively low Next Gen competition with such roll-the-dice rules in operation

I came across that nickname on Twitter, a girl was talking about Denis but her phone autocorrected 'Shapovalov' to 'Shampoo', it was hilarious and now lots of people are using it
