I'll roll with the Seahawks for week 2, by 13 points.

Guess I'm picking on the 49ers, lol.
I'm thinking I'll be equal opportunity pigeon picker and take SF, NYJ and Indy 3 times each to get to week 10 and then maybe go back to Cleveland a time or two. By then, we'll see who else is surprisingly bad, like Arizona without DJ and Palmer pooping in his Depends.

Yeah. Oakland is a 15 point favorite at home against the Jets, and Seattle is a 14 point favorite against San Francisco. Probably the safest two picks, but Baltimore is an option and Arizona too. The only concern with picking against bad teams is that sooner or later they're bound to win a few games like 3-6 in the season, so you just hope that that one week you pick against them is not the week where they play some crazy spectacular game.

OK. It's a total mystery to me then. There's no word of any delay here. There is a 100% chance of rain in Seattle on Sunday but only 63% at kickoff. It gets dicier as the game progresses. Maybe hedge your spread.

@Big_Dangerous @Topspin Shot

Yeah this is football, so it would take a natural disaster to postpone a game from being played - like a massive earthquake or hurricane. Plus, it never rains in Seattle, but it pours! :D

I've made it through to week 3 but @stringertom beat me with the points...Oakland won by 25 ...
I went 20, 5 points off and he went 21, 4 points off!! Hats off to you Tom!! ;)
I'm still glad to be in it, bring on week 3!! :D

Almost half the starting field gone after the first 16 games of the season.

2 players didn't make picks for this week, and then another was finnish with Cincinnati. :D

That's 2 weeks in a row in my other survivor league where I've skated on thin ice and the teams I picked were favored to win by a double digit spread and could have easily lost the game. Atlanta last week against Chicago got lucky because Chicago dropped the game winning touchdown twice, and now this week San Fran was up 9-6 on Seattle in the 3rd/4th quarter. I really hope next week goes a bit smoother for me!

I hate to pick against my hometown team, but I just can't see the Texans with a rookie quarterback going into Foxborough and beating the Patriots, especially given what New England did to New Orleans yesterday.

New England by 17

The week is not over...I'll tag @gino and @Power Player . They have three hours to pick a MNF team.

And @gino sneaks into the lead for the Pooblic Cup'17 first edition, thanks to a key save from yours truly. Save some space to engrave my name next to his on the base when he wins!

My trophy designer came up with the neatest design...it's shaped like a pair of UA compression shortz that cradle SexiSuri's heavy ballz.

I'm just happy to make it to week 3, the point differential is not a factor I care much about. :D

Crazy close games this weekend.

Patriots almost lose to the Texans at home and need a miraculous Tom Brady drive down the field with less than 2 minutes left.
Philadelphia blows a huge lead against New York, allowing all of the G-men's 24 points to come in the 4th quarter - finally winning the game on a 61-yard field goal as time expired.
Green Bay was getting beaten all day by Cincy, Rodgers throwing a pick-six for only the 2nd time in his career, and he was sacked 6 or 7 times. They needed OT to win the game by a field goal.

Weeks like this make me glad I don't bet on games - the spreads were ridiculous considering how close these games were.
