Yeah true, but I mean if I had wagered a large sum, then I'd have been sitting pretty at the half. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. I won this won by a lot, but my fantasy team is absolutely putrid right now. What a terrible day for my guys. ****ing idiot decision I made to start Wentz over Roethlisberger will cost me a win and first place...
I had a laugher SDL in the “trap” game you warned me about. Why didn’t I go Saints by 30???

I mean how in the hell could you expect Philadelphia to be that bad? That was just an embarrassing performance from them. Granted the Saints in the Superdome are hard to hold down, but they had the worst passing defense in the league coming into that game... There is absolutely no excuse for that kind of offensive ineptitude from Philadelphia.

My thoughts exactly on this pick. Alex Smith broke his tibia and fibula in that game against Houston and had to have emergency surgery, so he's obviously done for the year. Washington on a short week after a tough loss to Houston combined with the loss of their starting QB, and they have to travel to Dallas to play a Cowboys team that got a nice upset win over Atlanta. Thanksgiving no es bueno for the Skins.

I'll take Dallas -17.

“It’s a trap!” Colt McCoy returns to Texas and leaves a hero.

Ravens by 14 over Chucky in a 1pm EST game vs a West Coast team.

Its funny the reports are they are bring in all these guys to try out for the Skins, and they even mentioned March Sanchez. Hopefully they give McCoy a shot at least to start a coupkle games. That division is there to lose so they itll be a short leash but I feel he has earned the right to give it a go. Terrible for Alex, he has been secretly pretty good QB his entire career. Those early SF teams were just so bad.

Ravens need to ride with Lamar, they have a 2d dimension when he is on the field that they don't and never will have with Flacco. They don't have the speedster receiving talent to ultilize Flacco's one and only elite skill which is simply not thinking and throwing the ball really far.

True, he did rally the Skins after Smith went down, but you don't really gameplan for backup qbs to come in. Now that Dallas knows it's McCoy, they'll be able to plan for him. Probably run a spy on him quite a bit to contain him and keep him from scrambling out of the pocket and picking up yards with his feet. Dare him to beat you by having to throw the ball 40-50 times.

Yeah, he was cast away in San Fran to the flash in the pan Kaepernick, then upstaged by Patty Mahomes in KC, and now this happens in his first season with Washington. He's never been a qb that'll put up gawdy numbers and you'd draft early for your fantasy team, but he's always been solid and very underrated.

The Washington offense won’t change much...McCoy is basically a second HC to Gruden, having been there in D.C. for every game he has coached, including Jay’s botched handling of the QB position in his first season in 2014. McCoy was 3rd string to RG3 and Cousins and wound up being the starter after Cousins was benched at halftime while trailing Tennessee. All McCoy did was rally the team for a win and then beat the Cowboys in OT the next week. His reward? RG3 returned to the field and Washington began losing again. McCoy finished that year with a 71% completion line and a 96.4 QBR in his limited role as starter/first reliever.

They obviously are bringing in all these QBs as backup only. Let’s hope McCoy stays healthy. None of the mentioned candidates have recently played or know Gruden’s system like McCoy.

I remember making the argument that Flacco was not a top 10 QB (hard to do in BMore until about 3 weeks ago) and when I mentioned A. Smith as being better these people would laugh at me. But those Early Flacco led Ravens teams were defensive power houses that only needed a QB to pick up some third downs when the running game didn't get the job done and not turn the ball over. That's bascailly A. Smith in a nutshell and I truly believe that had A. Smith been on those teams they win more than one superbowl.

I entirely expect Flacco's hip to heal and for them to put him back in the starting lineup where he will have the smallest yards per attempt and team will have the lowest yards per rush in the league and not have a chance at the playoffs. They need to ride out Jackson and cut Flacco to get the 10 mill back to get some extra help. Flacco can sign with TB and air it out to those receivers and not commit quite as many turnovers as Fitz and Jameis, if TB fixed it D a little they are at least competitive.

I feel the Cowboys are in the driver's seat now.

However, I am not forgetting they play the Saints the week after Thanksgiving. In fact, they don't even get the 10 day mini bye, since that is a Thrusday night game as well.

The schedule maker give both teams a full week to prepare and then the mini-bye. Fair dinkum.

They'll probably put up another 50 burger on Atlanta Thankgiving night too. I've got Kamara on two of my fantasy teams, so I'm hoping he lights the Falcons up.
Short turnaround means they’ll handcuff AK to Ingram even tighter. The ATL D is a sieve though...gave up 200 scrimmage yards to Zeke but just one TD.

I look for Brandon Marshall to get a few catches in his first game in the NO passing attack. He is going to love getting targets by Breesus the Accurate. The veteran WR has had at least 17 QBs throwing to him and at one point rated Kyle Orton as the best. That was before Geno Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Eli Manning and Russell Wilson these past three years. Orton may still be the gold standard but that goes away on Thursday night.

Brees is incredible he has that accuracy and high completion percentage while throwing into tight windows to boot. I don't recall the last time I ever seen him airmail an easy throw like Cam Newton seems to do a couple times a game. And then on top of that the guys catch the thing at a higher clip than average. Some QBs for whatever reason just seem to throw a ball that easier to catch even if the velocity is the same.

Eh, the Titans looked terrible last week and Mariota is not 100%. I'd take the Texans to stay hot and extend their win streak. Just my .02 cents though.
Tennessee is 0-10 vs Luck, no matter how or how long he plays in the game. Last week he played so well he sent the Titans’ DC to the hospital. HC Vrabel had to take over the defensive signals when Dean Pees got wheeled out of the press box during the first quarter. He stayed overnight in the Indy hospital but is fine to Coach now and will be in Houston on MNF.

As to Mariota, when has he ever been 100%?

Houston is -3.5, certainly not a “lock” line.

I was just saying who I'd pick if I was in Power Player's shoes. Of course, nothing is a lock.
