Nick Kyrgios’ new frame?

Saw a video on Twitter I believe of Kyrgios training which looks recent. He was playing with a blacked out racquet which has to be a Yonex. Seemed very squared off at 11 and 1 o’clock but wondering what it might be and by the sudden testing of a new frame

link?

Kyrgios is playing with a blacked out racket in his latest IG story, perhaps trying something diff from his Xi98 in his rehab time away from tour? Not letting me insert image.

I've uploaded some screenshots in a different thread, you might need to click on the image to enlarge it. The head does look a bit more roundish compared to the Xi98.

The throat still looks like the XI98 - there’s a chance back in Canberra he doesn’t keep his current playing rackets. Nick Has many different houses, so he could have left the bag at the apt with the missus or in the bahamas

deleted. (i posted about new black ezone, but apparently only available in 100, not 98)

At first I thought it was the latest version of the Ezone. Now I’m not so sure.

He’s cringe.
I will watch just see him lose.
his game is based entirely on deception and mental Manipulation. Making you uncomfortable as possible is his main goal.
His serve is good …the rest pretty average

sheesh i thought i was an old man. are you guys just jealous he is so talented he can manage to play professional tennis part-time? i'd listen to his peers about what they say about his game

It’s entertainment and he’s entertaining. Haters hate him. People who recognize pure talent love him.
He has bad work ethics. Pulls tantrums like a 3 yo at the supermarket. He whines constantly.
But he knows how to put on a show, which is something most of the top 100 have no clue about.
If everyone on tour had half his showmanship, they’d need to build bigger stadiums. Because let’s be honest, very few players can fill a stadium like Nick does.

For how stupid he is and lack of work ethic - it’s clear he doesn’t realize how talented he is. Bc he could have a GS title by now if he put in the work.

oh no, he does realise, he believes that means he doesn't need to work as hard and he can still win.

I’m always fascinated how some people see showmanship when I only see bullying and thuggery.
it’s sad so many tennis fan want this kind of behavior now. Just go to a basket court, or a soccer field (here in Europe at least) and you’ll get plenty of that ordinary violence. But keep that out of our sport

He does have a GS title…
Ehh don’t care about the doubles.
He never achieved his potential in singles. He’s still a Whiney little brat on the court. And his narcissistic behaviors show off it with his comments. He’s not good for the sport - he thinks he is by attracting ppl who enjoy his behavior

Are you saying you wouldn’t care if you personally won a grand slam in doubles? Come off it lol

What’s wrong with his hair???

I'll go against the grain. Love his behavior and for the younger generation, many people watch him as well solely for that reason. And in terms of poor behavior and trash-talking or even somewhat poor sportsmanship, that exists in any other sport I've watched. It adds to the game, it puts more on the line, and it's exciting/refreshing as a viewer.

Imagine you watch boxing or basketball, and there is 0 banter, and all respect, and on the day of the fight/game, all you have to show is solely the skills in the sport. No build-up, no excitement, no story line, nothing. Personality is never shown and everyone just wants to act like an angel to each other.

This topic of "gentleman" sport and how everyone should act a certain way doesn't sit right. Most of his outbursts, I'd argue come from passion. He says he doesn't care about tennis, but have outbursts when things hit the fan and his game falls apart. Fully agree he never hit his potential, but to denounce his doubles achievement and stating he's not good for the sport is ludicrous! I'm sure he brings more eyes on the sport than other top players right now with an exception of a few like Carlos/Djokovic/Nadal.

Adding to it, some of the newer faces at the top seem to want to change the environment of tennis anyways. Tiafoe/Gauff (I think) recently talked about the crowd not having to be silent. Obviously, this goes against the traditional sit there in silence and let the players play and move/talk between points/games, but I'm open to the change.

I have no problem with his on court behaviour and think yeah tennis needs to move away from its stuffy country club attitudes if it wants to thrive, off court is more of an issue but it's not exactly shocking that a tennis player would be an ******* in real life
