Lol, what a pr1ck. Criticises Djokovic for withdrawing from a match due to heat exhaustion(over ten years ago mind you) then the very next day does something far worse by getting himself disqualified due to his appalling behaviour. Good riddance.
I had literally just posted how he was looking like he’d get his grudge match against Novak and then 10 seconds later he did that. They were slated to meet in the QF. Novak was one Kohlschreiber/Cecchinato win away from doing his part and Kyrgios just had to close out the third set against Ruud and then beat an only recently returned DelPo. Instead this happens lol.

And there you go people. The kid is in need of a psychologist, fast. I am not kidding here. He has a severe narcissistic personality disorder, that stems from being a fat kid as a child.

Such a waste of talent.

If you want to see yet another example of why his talent is a myth re-watch the match today

A literally endless flow of trick shots dumped into the net or hit 10 feet out of bounds

Casuals would see a highlight clip with the 2 out of 60 shots he did make and think he is talented

He serve botted himself into staying alive against a challenger player and still fell apart in the end

Was going to say exactly same thing - his talent is as with everyone else in circuit. All he does are repetitive hot dogs or underhand serve which he already saw elsewhere.

Important question: when was the last time a player was defaulted from a main draw ATP main draw match?

Nalbandian against Cilic in the Queens final 2012?

I know Darian King was defaulted from a challenger tournament around two years ago and Shapo at the Davis Cup but I’m talking main draw ATP event.

Did it go down as a default or a retirement?

In the video clip above, it looked like he was assessed penalties. He threw the chair and the umpire called for the ref. Then he walked off the court.

But was he defaulted?

It's not a default but a forfeit.

Relax max, I feel you had a terrible sleepless night yesterday :-D
Oh yeah preach some more, I was all in tears. I was whole time in that thread from page 1 to page infinity. I even made couple of threads about Kyrgios.

I dont think his talent is a myth. Anyone who gets into the top 20 and can beat the best players has to be talented and if he trains as little as he claims his potential prob is top 5. Is he a once in a century mercurial talent? No not even close imo.

It’s gone down as a default. Video doesn’t show it, perhaps the umpire didn’t get the chance to verbally say it but it appears it’s marked down as a default.

Must be suspended 6 months or a year and prize money earned in 2019. Nick has a problem to conduct his frustration, he want to win so much as Nadal, but makes this shows when he realizes he won t win, he cannot accept he is not good enough to play a high level for a month or more, so get pissed when a warrior, a hard worker like Ruud gets him down. No trainer, no need to rest the night before a match, no need to diet or train, perfect excuses to justify all his loses.
But there is only responsible for these shows we have seen the last 4 o 5 years, and that is ATP management.
If you are in a flight, and a boy cry, yell, runs all over, kick the seat in front of... is it his fault or his parents? Same situation here, ATP needs to put limits to a child that wasn´t educated, and as this is not happening, it´s getting worse.
A total lack of consideration for the crowd that paid a huge priced ticket for a tennis match (not to see in particular Kyrgios, just 2 tennis pros doing their best to win a match), not a clown show with poor taste.
