The way you phrase it it's as if he wasn't at least partly responsible for the toxicity directed at him - I agree, social media can be toxic, but it doesn't mean some of the scrutiny isn't justified and isn't self-inflicted.The whole Nick saga stirs up people’s emotions, especially hate. I had a look on FB just now and looked at the comments below each article and it’s pretty aggressive mainly against him, but there is some support as well. Social media can be highly toxic. If you were McEnroe, Connors or Nastase you would have probably been happy that the internet wasn’t around then .
If you are a public figure you probably want to stay away from these platforms and I bet that Nick and his brother spend too much time on Insta.
My sentiments are sort of based on surprise. I didn’t think that Nick would get so much attention or focus, I don’t think it’ deserves it, I’m sure his behaviour on tour does get people going and I assume it’s the young crowd because I don’t think the older generation are interested in all his shenanigans. Yes he is a very talented player, and Wimbledon finalist but he has been around long enough now and I think, well we have seen what he is about and therefore it’s time to move on now and get on with it, not into the circus and soap opera, too much clutter and fuss when lite and easy is so much better. I find someone like Medvedev more interesting with his intellect and humour. The way you phrase it it's as if he wasn't at least partly responsible for the toxicity directed at him - I agree, social media can be toxic, but it doesn't mean some of the scrutiny isn't justified and isn't self-inflicted.
Sorry if I misinterpreted you.
Kyrgios proclaimed himself the star. Sometimes ppl just like watching him melt down. I don’t. I turned it off after the first hour was about him. Can't believe Netflix made an episode about this irrelevant mug.
Nick is verbally abusive on court. I guess it’s low that I don’t have to see that?I don't like Nick's antics on the court but being happy that someone has to withdraw due to an injury is low.
You never have to see Nick. Just turn off your tv.Nick is verbally abusive on court. I guess it’s low that I don’t have to see that?

Are aliens inside your head forcing you to watch? Turn the TV off. Show some initiative and some self-control.I do. But if he gets deep into tourneys unfortunately I have to watch his disruptive and abusive behavior.

You had hopes that Kyrgios will stop Novak at AO!? LOLDjoker breathes a sigh of relief. LOL!
According to many Djokovic-bots, Nadal was "afraid" of facing him in the Wimbledon semifinals and that's why he withdrew from the tournament. Can't believe Netflix made an episode about this irrelevant mug.
Im as big a Kyrgios critic as anyone, but I agree with you, we shouldn’t be smacking him while he is down.
If what is in the lawsuit is true, we should be smacking him hard.
