Just some friendly advice. What's your go to outfit on the court currently? faded Slazenger polo?
Resorting to attacking personally (in the case his supposedly inferior clothing choices) the opponent because of a brand? I would have asked the same question brand fans like you "if you are here to trash brand X at the expense of Nike, why are you here at all?", but apparently your cult doesn't share the same sentiment as you. In fact, quite the opposite, and it happens in every thread, including creating threads about how bad other brands are from prominent Nike fans.

Can assure you I'm not a brand fan. I spend a bit of money to buy pieces of clothing I like, it happens that currently Nike have the most diverse range, so plenty to choose from. I'm not on any thread trashing other brands, there's a dozen brands I could pick nice pieces from and show love for. Don't throw me in this category of "Nike fans". The dude is coming into a thread to trash Nike, getting sarcastic with another user, so I'll fire away as I please.

He is correct, so making a correct observation is not "trashing". IF you aren't a brand fan you shouldn't worry about Nike's reputation apparently being in question according to you.

Explain how he is correct? I'm a fan of the work people put in, designers at Nike are clearly putting in effort to come up with something wild. Every design in the world has been done multiple times, the biggest fashion houses are reusing old styles constantly. If this criticism was coming from somebody who is usually a fan of Nike, I'd have more time for it, but what's the point in trashing Nike if you don't even buy it or appreciate it at it's best?

Okay, so you can't actually elaborate. You have an even better day my friend. Appreciate you and your boy getting this thread fired up though.
I can. He was comparing designs, and for that he doesn't need to own (never mind buy) their stuff. The fact that you think that being a fan of Nike is a prerequisite for giving an objective opinion is mind-boggling (it is the opposite, as fans of Nike by definition will tend to favour what Nike does), and the fact that you are only then ready to listen to what the person has to say is indicative as well. Also, he is not my "friend", I don't know him and oftentimes we don't share the same views (including on clothing designs).

Thank you for the well wishes.

What is mind-boggling is why somebody who isn't a fan of a particular brand, would feel the need to go into a thread about said brand, and critique it, especially knowing that thread is full of fans of said brand. Say I hate Adidas with a passion, why would I go into the Adidas thread? To troll the Adidas fans?
There's a difference between comparing, and sarcastically trying to trash the design, simply point out it's similar to an old Head design, and open a discussion.
Feel free to give objective opinions, just don't be a sarcastic troll.

At this point we are just spamming up a thread, we aren't going to agree, so feel free to quote me in bold, wish me a good day, whatever you like.

I just noticed the striking similarities between two designs. One came out a year before Nike's. Nike obviously copied that – because as I supposed their designers lacks creativity lately. And no I'm not a Nike hater. I'm a fan of good designs. And Nike is pretty bad in this department lately.

I think the tshirts are pretty original? The one Dmitrov wears, the FAA one too. Pretty wild design but creative. I agree geometric and camo have been done a million times, that's just a quick release, get something out into the market at a quieter time, then drop something more creative to the French and Wimbledon.

You do realise that it's an 18 months design process before any player wears the outfit on court, right?

I know the "tennis" shoe market isn't on par with b-ball for sheer $$$ and function, but just look at Nike basketball shoe design, which is fantastic, compared to the tennis lines. Just a little bit of that b-ball creativity , PG4 or Zoom Freak, would be nice. Nike has a nice classic line (Vapor 9, 9.5, X etc..too bad they don't last.) but the new Cage 4 is the only newer model that has anything interesting going on. The color ways are not good though, except for the Fairy Bread ones.

While I do agree that tennis footwear out there lacks the "wow" effect, I don't see how a Freak type shoe would sell to the tennis consumer. That shoe is nothing but a gigantic swoosh. We want more than just branding.

bought the plaid pg4 and strobel air is legit cushioning. Would be awesome to have this in a tennis shoe.
Agreed. Still, that Freak shoe is nothing but branding with some heel cushioning. There is an interesting review here:

Yes, take away Giannis and the shoe loses 90% of the hype. Meh traction, meh cushioning and meh materials == meh shoe. Price is a bit much especially for a shoe like the Freak 1.

The PG4.... What a shoe. That model and the Harden 4 are the best two basketball shoes of 2020 imo. Agree that the strobelboard design on the PG4 is extraordinary, and at such an amazing pricepoint. It would be great if the scale of economy was large enough for a mid-priced tennis shoe to be loaded with so much tech.

They’re getting there ! They did a hybrid shoe with sloane for uso 19 and the kyrgios shoe etc etc. I think they know this and are working on it. We’ll see how successful the designs are though...

The b-ball silhouettes are so much better than the tennis. The shapes of the shoes are better. More creativity. Need to get the b-ball designers to throw out some tennis shoe ideas.

I don’t want to sound rude but you are a little late lol, first time with the vapor?
Yes, very 1st time... it's like 1st time with a girl actually. Anyway I have been 12 year yonex shoes guy. but lately they totally screwed up the shoe by making it super narrow and Heavy. Even the Great Stan the Man won't wear the eclipsion 3. Anyway, I have to day that powercushion seem to be better energy returning than this Zoom air but given that I have no choice, this Nike Zoom air is pretty good and close to powercushion. Like I said, I wish they had Zoom air all they to the front of the Vapor 10.

I’ll pass on the citrus tang Rafa shirt but I still want that Prussian blue shirt that he practice in Madrid.

Well some things I like about the vapor is that I can wear two socks and still have breathabilty. The traction is nice except for when you have an accidental slide, however I don’t know how to slide on purpose.

does the Zoom air cushioning last a while ?
Yes, the zoom bag actually protrudes from the strobe board to boost responsiveness (I think) but yes the cushioning lasts. However from wear the foam actually starts to come off from dragging, such as right under the big toe. But the zoom stays, I have had a pair for around 2 years, and the zoom is still around and kicking, especially on warm days, I just love feeling that zoom bag.

Roland Garros seems confirmed for 20 September.
It is possible that Nike athletes wear the Agassi line initially scheduled for Us Open 2020

wouldn’t they just wear the RG line? I guess anything is possible, but we’re talking about projects that are made at least a year in advance within a highly systematized design process for particular markets and places. It seems a bit willy-nilly if they just bumped a line back for a different purpose.

On that note has anyone seen the RG line? (Not the clay season apparel)

#Pajamas Some of them are out already, and some missing pieces.
