Vapor X wides (2E) were readily available at every Nike tennis shoe retailor.

ATM, Nike does not currently have a wide option for tennis shoes.
Even the uk nike or tennis warehouse europe from what you remember?

Any news on the reintroductions of Agassi shoes or clothing for 2023?
Anything?
... And other shoe besides vapor 11?
Thanks

We dont have Ross in the uk though

Ross is an overstock store in the US. They usually get clothing months, maybe years, after the original season release. I doubt you’d find any more VXWs these days.

Maybe try resellers like Goat or StockX. They’re a little pricey though.

I think im limited going forward is it likely the vapor 11 will have a wide version at some point?

Do you remember seeing whether on nike uk they sold vapor x wides as that would be a good indicator whether i might be able to get the 11s

what is the code for the red shirt?
Has anyone seen the shirt that Tiafoe wore the other day in the bright Crimson? Will that drop in the US?

I have asked this before

Are the vapor x shoes definitely discontinued now?

I need to get a 2E or 4E version as have wide feet.

Does anyone know if they actually sold them in europe or just the US?
Do you know if anyone else other than Nike sold them in europe did tennis warehouse?

Also do you know if any new styles will have the wides again ie the vapor 11s. Do you know if they come in 2E or 4E?

i would love to see the sales figures on her collection

how could they go from 2002-2022 without putting in half the effort for Federer/Nadal/Serena?

It baffles my mind. Those three are bigger icons than Osaka will ever be, esp given her current form/priorities

In my estimation, Nike is a company that is very out of touch with what their customers want.

I see people on this forum asking for more Agassi releases. There's even interest in McEnroe releases.

Nike couldn't be bothered with any of that.

They're too busy making sure that Naomi Osaka has her own collection for both men and women.

You see Naomi Osaka represents a certain element of the woke movement (just watch the 2020 US Open women's final and you will see what I mean.)

Nike (and most other major companies) wants to be seen supporting this movement.

That's why we see an abundance of Osaka gear, even though she has essentially retired from the game.

They really don't care what you and I want.

It's all about showing support for the right causes.

Excellent news except for the fact i dont like the vapor pro's

But beggars cant be choosers. Where have you seen them listed?

Also do you know which shoes have the same sole as the vapor react nxt and vapor cage 4? That material they use is super durable but not all Nike models have them

Oh i see them now thanks for the heads up need to try them on and figure out which size i need. It is a very narrow shoe to begin with i hope the extra wide is very wide otherwise may still be too narrow.

i imagine it is only a 2E at best?

Or...this forum doesn't represent the typical Nike customer

Who is going to pay full retail for Nike kit?

Not smart shoppers on a tennis forum, that's for sure.

A huge, huge portion of their business is "streetwear"--think Supreme

Osaka has appeal outside of tennis, and that's the key. As much as I also love the genteel country-club look, it's not what drives sales. "Drip" and "swag" drive sales

The point is this forum is 0.01% of their sales. You really think normal people care about McEnroe release when they don’t know he exists in the first place. But yes, Nike designs deteriorated massively compared to Fed/Nadal/Sharapova kits. Sharapova 2010 dress to current times is night and day for example.

I dunno dude, their men's stuff has been awesome lately

Yeah, ppl love the stuff from the peak Fedal era, but it looks mad dated and there are major quality issues that have since been ironed out

They’re probably not the newest but I ordered me some Jordan Zion 2 for indoor tennis
The zion 2 look good but what surface indoors?

If it has those translucent soles it'll wear quick unless it has outdoor hard court material esp if you are playing indoor hard or even carpet

I grew up in the 00s and used to buy the Federer and Nadal stuff from back then (I think I started collecting in 2007.)

I bought from Nike routinely up until 2014.

What I noticed in that time period was a tremendous drop in the quality of their products.

Their hats, shirts, and shorts were so much better in the 2000s.

Don't even get me started on the shoes.

The vapor cage 4s are garbage when compared to the courtballistec 2.3 or 4.3. Heck, even the cage 2 is better than the cage 4.

The quality of their products since last year has taken a major step backwards.

The head ties feel cheaper than ever and the edge of the swoosh is messed up and won't stay on the bandana. I guess they didn't want to use too much glue on those.

I will take the stuff from the 2000s any day over what they have coming out now.

Maybe it's dated...but so am I. Lol.

Does the glue come off after you wash it?

I only handwash mine and careful not to crease the swoosh

Everythinf has gone to crap any thing to save money. 90s quality > 2000s > 2010s

But i do like the bandanas with the grey underside when officially did nike do this?
