Pros are still wearing Vapor 9/9.5/10... Bring them back Nike

I'm going to keep this short and straight to the point. Now that Australian Open 2022 is underway, nearly all pros on the Vapor line is still wearing the old 9/9.5/10 and not the new version, which despite being the closest thing that we have, still feels like skates. Can we get something going...

I can hardly contain my excitment. I dislike the current Vapor Pro, and I only wear them because they're the "closest" thing to the 9/9.5/10.

While I do appreciate the intent, I still find them ugly. I always thought they were ugly and that's okay.

I can speak for the 9/9.5/X. They all wear about the same to be honest. I play ~8 hours of singles and most of those are long drawn out rally drills, and I generally get roughly 2-3 months per pair at most.

Francis looks like he’s virtually wearing a pink tutu in a recent pic; apparently it’s a singlet and shorts with ‘spandex’ tights but whatever it is it looks god awful, even in the alternative grey - absolutely a new low from Nike, as I believe we were warned it would be. :sick:

I hope they fix it, although he also puts it inside his pants, something that leaves it very bad

NIKE ELITE TENNIS SOCKS! Just stick to those and release different colours with every new season's outfit. C'mon Nike! Even Rafa and Dimitrov still use them!

Anyone has spares to let go in size L? While they were the best looking, they ran notoriously small.

Rafa and Dimitrov doesn’t wear the Nike Elite Tennis Socks though…they were regular dri-fit (poly/cotton combo) ones mocked up to look like the Elite Tennis socks.

It looks like after 6+ years with Heritage86, we are going to get a new model of Rafa's signature hat in 2023.

From the renders, the following 3 things stand out/make their glorious comeback:
  • ventilation panels
  • Velcro strapback
  • the brim also looks more like its old self
Maybe NikeCourt has finally decided to put an end to the dichotomy of Rafa wearing a Featherlight and the public getting the Heritage86 equivalent in different colors more often than not (it sure had to hurt sales)?

I remember seeing before there were pink 9.5's I hope this is true.

Anyone know what dates to roughly see AO Nike gear? Surely its getting really close.

I do the same(managed to get some AO Challenger for $30aud down from $99aud), the last few years the AO open stuff haven't been that great sadly but hey, one can hope that something good pops up!

Nike's gotten so cheap that they can't even use a different material for the vents anymore... they just poke holes in the top of the hat.
