Does anyone know who is buying up all the nike premier wristbands from tennis warehouse europe?

I have noticed this happen over the past year the volt noir, game royal, vivid purple, green glow black, emerald green etc all the stock suddenly gets bought up and disappears in 1 go if there is ever a promotion and im talking within seconds or hours of the promotion starting it is def a reseller doing it yet tennis warehouse europe dont so anything about it all they tell you is sorry the item is out of stock and we cant order in anymore (a week later replying) - great service i already know that!

They seem to care little about it and ignore emails about it repeatedly surely they are in breach of their exclusivity contract with nike allowing resellers to buy up all the stock?

The consequences for us in europe is we miss out and have to overpay both either buying from said reseller or paying full price needlessly direct from TWE.

Something needs to be done and a complaint to nike is necessary but i dont actually know who you can complain to at nike for it to go further up the chain of command the front line nike experts in chat are useless and are essentially untrained monkeys.

In the US i think you have so many retailers selling the premier wristbands you never need to worry about it selling out in europe on tennis point and tennis warehouse europe have the exclusivity of them so you cant buy them anywhere else.

Anyone had any luck with nike actually doing stuff about this? You would think a slap on the wrists from nike would get TWE to actually act on it and ban the seller from buying more than 5 total

TW said 2024 per below
man now that I have calmed down and re-read those posts, they only said "there was a possibility of a wide version in 2024" but upon further inquiries by @pete101 further down that thread, TW is not saying they do not have anything (so far) scheduled for 2024 :(

For the Aus folks, the GP Turbo are on sale atm via Nike au website. The white ones (that go up to size 9.5 mens aka womens 12) are still in stock :)
Lime green ones are also on sale but slightly smaller size range going up to size 8.5 men / 10 womens.

Ohh boy - at this rate I really might have to reconsider my Nike allegiance; that gear is so far removed from something I’d ever wear.

So Nike are making all this noise with brown to appeal to 5% of the market?
Didn‘t realise scatophiles were so abundant - explains Fed’s ‘19 FO gear.
Athleisure - is that what passes as fashion in the US?

No I said 95% of the old fogies on TTW. And yes in case you've been living under a rock, athleisure is a massive subsect of fashion.

It's okay to not be in tune with trends. Nike still makes white shirts and black shorts, it still exists. You don't need to shout at the clouds for things that aren't made for you.

I dunno, it's perfect for walking once across the short side of Central Park & kidding yourself that you've exercised; :sneaky:not as slutty as those little white tennis skirts being worn all over upper Manhattan by people that never play tennis, let alone the Daisy Dukes. NY: America's 'fashion' capital...(blind leading the blind - no wonder Shakira got ridiculed at Wimbledon.)
Even all these aren't as bad as the 'slides' with socks look (Wally on Crocodile Dundee) that seems to have become the US male's default footwear.

I think you mean 'subset' - US literacy rates are apparently on the same level as US fashion sense.:sneaky:

For the goofiest, most unstylish player on the entire tour
well style is subjective obviously but yes, the fashion industry often picks people who have a more unique appearance especially brands like Gucci etc... so Sinner makes sense in that respect, less so for Nike. Musetti is much less a Gucci type than Sinner tbh.

  1. Subset:
    • A subset refers to a portion or part of a larger set.
    • It implies that the subset is contained within or is a smaller category of the main set.
    • Often used in mathematical or logical contexts.
  2. Subsect:
    • "Subsect" is less commonly used and isn't as universally recognized as "subset."
    • It generally refers to a subdivision or subgroup within a larger section or category.
    • This term is less precise and less commonly used than "subset."
Also not American, but thanks.

Both Collins and Merriam-Webster quite specifically reference the general usage of 'subsect' as a sect within a sect. Unless 'fashion' is indeed a sect - i.e. a rogue political or heretical religious group - then your usage is grammatically incorrect.

Aspects of that clothing actually appear to be a sad attempt to reference the Lolita look; incidentally it’s breathtakingly stupid to embrace a title that is actually derogatory - but not unexpected given the intellect of those involved.

With the new Osaka stuff, it looks like Nike might be moving away from the worst of the mid 80s and into the late 80s/early 90s. If cheesy retro is your thing, that could be progress I guess.

Cool thanks for your googling efforts — not the dunk you think it is. You don't need to be mad at fashion that isn't geared for you. But then again I'm assuming you're the type of person who is anti-cancel culture and wokeism and just wishes things could be like they were 'back in your day'.

Ass-um-e all you want.
Attacking ’anti…wokeism’ implies that the attacker is pro wokeism; as per the use of ‘Lolita’ op.cit. #829 to place one’s self and others proudly under the banner of a term that was derogatory in it’s seminal usage is a sad reflection on the intellect of those who do so.

I guess you live in a sad world then. What's new? Time to move on.

Yep, time to move on. I would just like to say that I wasn’t attacking ‘wokeism’ per se, rather I was suggesting by example that if a group - woke or otherwise - allows themselves to be described by what was initially a derogatory moniker it will usually weaken the groups public standing, which is the aim of those who instigated the term.

I think I was equally a little hasty in my arguments. Apologies, and hopefully water under the bridge.

Yes, baggy is in, has been for a while. JNCO jeans, chunky shoes, etc. I hate it.

I actually came to discuss Nike's "alabaster"

I recently bought the zip "adv" top (DD8321-744, worn by Dimitrov at Monte Carlo 2023) and the crew (dr5654-744, worn by Tiafoe at Indian Wells 2023).

The crew arrived today and it is not remotely the same color. I haven't experienced variation this wide in Nike colors, ever. Anyone else? I'm fine, both look great lol...just not the same at all.

The ADV zip looks much more yellow, while the crew has a lot more brown in it.

I came here to read all the complaints about Naomi attire (and find it a bit funny on how people get so upset over fashion sense/trends)
I have asked a few of my girl friends about some of the previous Naomi range and they have all praised it highly. Just because a majority of people on here are men, doesn't mean that there are also women who might be interested in the attire.

If fashion never changed, we wouldn't be having these posts on new clothing because it would be the same 'white/black/grey/eshay reds' stuff that every dad on here wants to buy.
I for one enjoy the bright colours, given I wore so much black during my 'emo' phase, I couldn't be less enthustatic about the plain colour ways.
Hey, I am sure Under Armour will be pleased to see you buying their stuff. (no jab at UA, just seen some of the comments before and found it funny)

Those soft colors are always a hit or a miss until seen in person in my personal experience… primary colors/dark colors you pretty much know what to expect.

As for the the alabaster being different shades in the zip vs the top it has to do with one being dyed and the other being a print so they will never match unfortunately

Heard from someone in Nike Tennis, that the Osaka collections perform and sell really well. Not for the core tennis player. But that's also not who they are after.

Simple. It's because Osaka doesn't sell. Woke crap, doesn't sell.

Nobody buys this stuff. Time to wake up Nike.

Stop throwing your money away on the Woke Drama Queen.
Mate — she's a globally appreciated athlete; that's her appeal, and that's why Nike picked her up. They're using her brand to transcend into mainstream culture, and they've previously been very successful with her line. It's not just about tennis, it's more about fashion. It's the same with the Jordan line, it's not all about basketball. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Move along there's plenty of other Nike clothes for you to wear.

Also hilarious that you call out woke crap, yet yell at them to... wake up....

Let me ask you this, do you have any experience with selling Nike products?
