U.S. Open exclusives. There used to be a Nike store on the grounds at the Open that sold the Nike Open Exclusives as well as the entire tennis line, but it’s been gone for almost a decade now. My guess is they are available at the Nike store or the Nike U.S. Open pop up store in NYC.

Probably because they took all the business away from primary sponsors like Wilson and Polo.

Haha. Yeah, could be.

The U.S. Open is a cash cow though.

I would watch in amazement at families walking out of the Polo shop with multiple bags of Ralph Lauren clothing. Dropping thousands at a time, and it was a steady stream of families.

The Nike store at the Open was by far the busiest, plus its location was a major choke point. You know how ‘friendly’ New Yorkers can be? I was just trying to get to my court assignment and would have difficulty navigating through. That was the only tournament where this would happen. Everywhere else people would see an umpire and or group of umpires headed to court and they would step aside and say good luck, not in New York.

Maybe because I am not an American, I always have difficulty understanding why Polo sponsors US open. They do not have that deep of root in tennis, in contrast to Lacoste. What they have done for US open is simply providing clothing for umpire and ball boys/girls. It is also a mystery to me that why people would like to spend "thousands" to dress like an umpire or ball boys.
 
Anyone seen what Draper is wearing? Is it a certain line or is he just wearing a larger size? Looks like he's wearing a purple bin bag. I mean that fit is not for me at all but to be fair, may be more ideal in the hotter weather!

Ralph Lauren spent a lot of money to Sponsor and outfit the ball people and umpires at the Open…same with Wimbledon.

As why anyone would want to spend thousands of dollars to dress like an umpire or ball person?…I don’t know. I do know that the umpire jackets used to get top dollar on that auction site.
 
Paging resident tech challenge expert @CHillTennis - all this hot pink we are seeing, is that hot lava? seems more egregiously pink to me

not a fan of the body suit looks Rune and Musetti have going

Edit: "Aster Pink" - looks awful. Wish they werent trying so hard

Ideal wearing something that bunch and probably wrap around your body when turning your core by having that much fabric hanging?? In my case is the worst scenario
 
All in all, Sinner's shirt is not so bad; it reminds a bit of some 2000s shirts with light/dark colors on the front and back....If it had been a polo it would have been more elegant.

Has anyone noticed that the US open attire seems to be locked out and only available via United States Nike page? :( None of the stuff that I see is available on the AU page on Nike's page!

Nike seems to be fumbling the US Open gear pretty hard. The "Alcaraz" kit isn't available in the US, and the regular sleeved shirts are available in 3 similar colors (pink, fuschia, salmon) and green. I was speculating that maybe this gear was available if you were physically at the US Open, but who knows.
 
However, on the chest and on the right shoulder of the suit in which he is photographed with the Air tech challenge II on his feet, there seems to be some symbol

You can't order them. Some are on backorder and some just not available at all.

I think they're going super limited with the tanks like usual. But this is an improvement over the past few years when they weren't available for purchase at all

Becuase no one bought them in the past. Its tough for supply lol. They should know an all black tank would be easier to sell but market data would suggest otherwise.

Its like BMW making cars that are way too pricey and people who usually buy used cars saying "I wouldn't pay that much for that"... well they know that and that's why you aren't their market... their data suggest people are buying $140k SUVs that look like pigs.

The price is too difficult to swallow. It's not really different for the tanks in their running line. For the black one though, in the US, seems to be a TW exclusive, so unless it is available physically at the USO, they definitely fumbled whoever their target audience is.
