Nike Air Max Smash stability? vs Cage II/Oscillate/Vapor

Hello all, need some help! Looking for some stable (Nike) shoes to help end my reliance on the uncomfortable but rock-solid Oscillates. Have tried the New Zoom Advantages, and they’re pretty good (have written a review if anyone's interested), low to the ground and very stable. Anyone know anything about the Air Max Smash – they’re going very cheap on TW Europe. I understand they’re a knock-down of the Cage II which I’ve never tried. I had a pair of Breathe Free II which I wore twice before giving away – absolutely no stability, felt I was going to break my ankle every time I moved. So any feedback on the Smash’s re lowness to the ground and support/stability (ankle basically) would be massively appreciated, especially compared to the other shoes named above. Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend the Smash line. 2 people I've played against seriously rolled they're ankles in those shoes and one of my teammates did the same. All on seperate occasions of course.

Thanks for that. Interesting that they're described as "offering plenty of stability".........based on your anecdotal evidence sounds like a complete lie which is disappointing.

im playing with the air smash, they are ok. They are not the most comfortable, not the most breathable,.....but they are cheap and ok for me.

Thanks Frankauc - any insights as to height off the ground/stability. Don't think I'll go for them but just so I have all the facts. Bonus if you can compare them to any other Nike shoe.....cheers!

they are stable. I run fast and i slide on every surface, i never injured myself with those shoes. Height off the ground is ....average....not an issue for me. They run 1/2 size bigger. I was previously using the city court 3.... City courts are more comfortable, but they are ugly ;)
