when is it being released?Think they are totally redoing the cage. Won’t look the same from what I heard/saw.
Believe Australian open next year. Looks like a much better shoe from a pic I saw. And no I don’t have pics.when is it being released?
So you know when the release date isCan confirm it will be called the Vapor Cage 4. Vapor line will not go away, though.
will be called Vapor Cage 4
This is accurate. Can confirm it will be called the Vapor Cage 4. Vapor line will not go away, though.
Will it still have a 6-month outsole guarantee? Considering it is picking up the Vapor nameThis is accurate.
I'm not sure. I have only seen stock images and not the product description. Will it still have a 6-month outsole guarantee? Considering it is picking up the Vapor name
Eventually any half-word on the design? ThanksI'm not sure. I have only seen stock images and not the product description.
My Nike rep stated that they plan to have the durability guarantee at this time, but that doesn't mean they will continue with that come the release date. Just preliminary plans. Will it still have a 6-month outsole guarantee? Considering it is picking up the Vapor name
Any idea of a release dateMy Nike rep stated that they plan to have the durability guarantee at this time, but that doesn't mean they will continue with that come the release date. Just preliminary plans.

There's a pick of Nadal on @TennisSpree IG feed wearing some new shoe... if he's carrying on the Cage line, this could be the new Cage...

The leaked pics (over on Niketalk) show more of the upper design. It's interesting - it looks like the outsole kinda wraps upwards onto the medial toebox. It's Venom-esque. Kinda cool. The top-down view reminds me of a CourtBallistec (1.3) and less of a "Cage" shoe since there doesn't seem to be that 'cage' overlay anymore.
Yeah. I still would rather it be a ZZ2 than a Cage 4... but whatever. It's a new shoe to get excited about because the current Cage doesn't work for me with all that exposed plastic shank on the outsole... new one seems to have rubber throughout the outsole (which adds to weight, so why call it a "vapor"?).Heel kind of reminds me a bit of the zeros.
Don’t get why the vapor in the name.
Just saw on Niketalk as well, definitely looks like as if ZZ and the Cages had a baby it would be this shoe. Looks much slimmer... Hoping it still offers the same stability.

Ohyeah, dang I wonder if they'll be released sooner than later... man love that PJ on Roger's racquet tooRafa was rocking the new cage at Laver Cup practice
To be fair, Nike did make the Cage 3 much lighter than the previous versions and pretty low to the ground with decent durability... at the cost of comfort and cushioning. I wouldn't be surprised by an attempt from Nike to restore some comfort to the shoe.Don't understand the mixing of the 2 silos...Vapor has traditionally been the "speed" focused range and the Cage/Ballistec/Breathe has been the "power/stability/durable". Maybe these attributes are not mutually exclusive, but it's a big ask to create a "one shoe to rule them all".
To be fair I feel like they improved them in later iterations — ideally, they should have launched the 3 like that. My 3rd pair seemed to hold up as long as the Cage 2 and I'm a toe dragger. In my eyes, the Cage 3 was an atrocity. The upper east that supportive after it stretched (and it stretched a lot), nor did it stand up to toe dragging. The shank was prone to cracking, and it just looked weirdly organic, like alien goo.
Hopefully they take some cues from the Vapor upper and inject some life into Rafas shoes.

Wow — how did that happen?! They definitely don't look like they have the same support as previous iterations, almost look like a speed shoe. Curious to hear your feedback when you get them! $61 bargain deal too hahaI just got a pair off ****!https://www.****.com/itm/nike-court...-Naomi-Off-White-Supreme-Tennis-/193149948484 I cant wait to try them
