Lol relax they aren't "bricks". They are heavier yes but they move just fine. Who knows they could totally screw up the next iteration. So be careful what you ask for

Well, the 4's are being discounted at the moment, so perhaps Nike is in fact getting ready to release version 5. I just bought the 4. Will update when I get them as to whether a half size down was appropriate or it needs to be a full size. Expecting a solid ride. Not worried about the weight.

Well, I just played in this shoe for the first time. Compared to Asics Gel Res 8, which I wear in the same size, the Nikes fit my foot better (no discomfort like from the Asics "girdle" that holds the middle of your foot), the cushioning is about equal though I like the heel-toe drop of the Nikes more, and I didn't notice any extra weight. They were plenty easy to move around in. Great shoe. Sad it took this long for me to buy a pair for myself.

OK, so after a few weeks playing in the ZVC4, I feel I can actually add something to this thread.

Yes, they do run half a size long, but if you need width up front for your toes, as I do, you may want to go with your normal size. They fit a little like football (aka, soccer) shoes, quite narrow in the tip. It's not so narrow that I can't deal with it, but if you're going to be irritated by pressure on the side of your big toe, it'll matter. Also, putting them on thanks to the one-side attached elastic tongue is a bit odd.

That said, they are rock solid stable once on, have good cushioning, and don't squeeze my high volume foot as awkwardly as the "straight-jacket" system Asics uses in the Gel Res 8 and 9. I'm really liking the support, fit, stability, and speed of the shoe. The durability probably goes without saying.

They’re younger and don’t need the support provided by the shoe is my guess. For me, old and needing Barricade like support without the low toe box that blackens my toenails, they fit the bill.

Agreed, they feel clunky when I put them on and move great on the court. I'm surprised by how stable and fast they are. By the way, I wear them half size smaller than my Vapors and the fit is excellent.

Probably because durability isn't an issue for them bc they get so many pairs. Like frames and strings.

For the rec player, it's a big issue. My ZVC4 are holding up way better than my GP Turbos

Man, this post just cost me $85 lol

I have 1pr of ZCV4 left and I have like 8 pairs of GP Turbo I need to wreck. But these...never seen a nicer pair, and I think I play a bit better in the ZCV4. And I have a LOT of white/green stuff now. So I had to pull the trigger.

Also, I had a $10 gift card at one of the other retailers because I complained about their UX. So I'm super happy with what I paid.

Yes I have. Be sure you're wearing enough sock. I alternate them with GP Turbos for precisely this reason.
