Nike Air Zoom Cage 4 Release Date ?

Um, what's going on with the laces on the medial side of the white pair?? Was it just a sample shoe photo? The other two colors aren't this way...

It isn't just the medial side laces that are different. The "Cage" design is a different one on the white one as well. It definitely has to be pre-production version.

I actually like the look of the shoe...will be much better with better colorways though. Nike has really overplayed volt in particular the past few years.

May consider giving them a try, although it sounds like they will be a bit snug for my wider feet. Solecourt Boost really shines here (but I'd also like some better colorways)

I went into my local tennis specialty this weekend wearing my Vapor Cages. Because of the heel slippage issue I'm having, I was looking to try on a pair one half size down to see if it solves the heel issue without sacrificing my toe, arch and instep areas too much. My concern is that once these shoes really start to break-in, the upper will be so loose that I just won't be able to play in them any longer.

Strangely enough, this locally retailer hasn't received their shipment so they haven't seen the actual shoe yet. When they saw mine, they were BLOWN AWAY! They loved the look of the shoe and think it's going to sell very well for them.

Again, the more I play in them the more I think these are the evolution of the Ballistecs that the Zoom Zero should have been. It's out and out a durability shoe and players that like that grounded, super-stable feel while you're moving around the court are really going to love these I think.

After playing a bit in these, I think I am going to try these sizing down a half size. Seems my normal size is just a smidge too long. Curious to see how a half size down fits. So still like the shoes, but am hoping they feel better sized down.

Sent my pair back. While I liked the on court performance and look, they gave me the same pain at the base of my big toe (where a bunion would occur) and crushed pinky toe that the Cage 3 did. I was hoping the fit would be different enough but it was not to be. Back to my stash of ZZ.

I too went half a size down. Fits perfectly now after my usual 9 was too long.

Nico Jarry has some AntiVenom looking ones for the ATP Cup. White upper with black outline swoosh and black midsole/outsole

Try these on before you buy. Definitely work better for me half a size down. A bit heavier than my normal shoe (zoom zero) but don’t fee that it compromises movement. Think Nike did well with this and I am looking forward to the new gp turbo this summer as well. Also excited for the air tech challenge 30 coming our way.

My take, as someone with minor lower back problems, the Cage 3 was already semi-hard to get on, the Cage 4 is worse/terrible. I'll keep the pair I got just because I got a discount, but this won't replace the Vapor X for me.

Some news on design of Nike Turbo GP?
Vapor cage 4 are they the same size as vapor X? Example 10 us vapor X is same 10 us vapor cage 4?
Thanks

The turbo GP seems like the next step of the zoom zero. Double stacked zoom I believe. Just saw a brief description online. Coming this summer.

Am I the only one who saw that an actual brick and mortar store was selling the nikecourt essential socks? Those are some hard socks to find, let alone irl. I know only one tennis shop where I live that sells those, and it's on and off if they have them and the colors.

That new Zoom Vapor Cage 4 could be more stable, durable and comfortable than the Resolution 8 (or 7)?
Or that's just impossible...? :)

Tried on the Cage 4, Resolution 8, Asics FF and New Balance 996V4 yesterday. The Cage 4 was the most stable followed by the FF. The 996 was the lightest by far but didn't seem like there was too much support. Comfort wise for me was the Cage 4 and the FF with the 996 being close in comfort to those two.

Can you comment on traction between the FF and the Cage 4?

cannot compare them to the ff, but after about 8 hours on court, the rubber softens up nicely and provides great traction. Not that it was bad in the beginning but better after slight break in. Think these might be close to passing the zoom zero as my shoes of choice.
