That's fair... I guess I'm oversimplifying "fits like the others". I guess I'm lucky and haven't had any problems with Nike as long as I make sure I have a bit of extra room in the toe area.

I'll be getting mine late this coming week and will post if nobody else does in the meantime. I don't quite yet understand what this "inward slant" is though so bear with me if I'm the one to answer...

Just look at the V10s from the back, the uppers slant inwards relative to the base of the sole, instead of sitting relatively parallel. (Of course I could just have a dud pair;); I only bought them because the Eclipsion2s are running a bit narrow and I like to wear relatively thick socks - but the Yonexes are still IMO a far better, more supportive shoe.)

If you do the "360 view" from ten-nis exp-ress, it looks slanted to me.

Looking forward to hearing reviews on the onfoot. Really hope it's not as slanted. Otherwise I'd probably get some orhotics with a high arch to kinda compensate - If anyone can link me where to get some stiff orhotic soles with a high arch (to counter balance the inward slant) That'd be amazing :)

I 100% agree with the Fly Knit Zooms - the tongue constantly slide over and I had to keep adjusting throughout play. I told myself I would not buy another fly knit model. Other Vapors were fine and did not have this issue (9.5/X), at least for me. I currently have a pair of Vapor X and they fit great and I have some Zoom Zero's I have yet to get on court with. I personally like the feel of a bootie style fit, eliminates the sliding tongue issue and having narrow feet I always feel as if the shoe is more locked on.

I tried on some Vapor X, X Flyknits, and Zoom Zeros last week in a local tennis shop. I don't like the laces on the X -- there is just so much friction to move them but I suppose that will keep them locked in place on court. The Flyknits were much more comfortable and easier to put on. They look much better than the current atrocious Vapor X colorways too.

Sizing: I wore a mens size 9.5 for the Vapor 9.5 and I have slightly narrow feet. The X felt a tad shorter but I'd still buy a size 9.5. Flyknit 9.5 also. The Zoom Zeros felt looser in the toebox, probably due to not having laces as far forward. Size 9.0 fit me lengthwise but was a bit tighter across the top of my foot but that's the size I'd get for that.

I see Nike also released a Vapor X TC Knit that has some throwback Agassi shoe looks to it, which I had when I was a kid. So tempting.

GUUUYSSS! I just got my Vapor X Knits. The fix is SOOOO much better than the regular Vapors. And I think they've upped the cushioning in the heel area, too! Feels different on foot compared to the regular Vapors. So excited to get this out on the courts! I don't expect the traction to be any better, but we'll see. I've had issues with the plastic shank plate touching court and causing me to slide in the regular Vapor Xs.

Oh, also, no feeling of an inward slant - although visually you'd think that. Could be the tweaked cushioning (lots more in the heel and a little more in the forefoot). The claws aren't digging into my arch area, either... but I didn't tie them tightly yet.

So I have a opportunity to purchase a pair of the new ZV10 Flyknit in the Arctic White or the OG colorway for only $85. I’ve tested the regular ZV10 and didn’t like how low to the ground it felt/less cushioning. So should I purchase the ZV10 Flyknit and give it a try? I will only be wearing these a causal shoes FYI.

OK, I take it all back... I played in it for a set. Upper is definitely an improvement. Length was adjusted and it's a good thing. Not so narrow in the heel. HOWEVER... the lateral heel area of my left foot was cramping. Maybe the shoe needs more time to break in? I dunno. The traction was what I expected - it's slippery. And I still slide on the plasticky part and felt very unsure of my footing.

I mean, this is the first impressions, right?! But seriously, what was I thinking earlier? Oh, I know... I was wearing a pair of Chucks all day. Anything I slipped into would have been 'comfy.'

A) These aren't flyknits... just regular knit. And it's like, a knit on top of a some other traditional shoe material.
B) I didn't like the 10s.... these feel about the same where it counts (for me) - midsole/outsole are the same.
C) Try them only if you can return them.
D) But... that's a great price...

The Zoom Zeros DO “open up” on the court. Everyone seems to feel that tightness across the top of his foot initially but once they’re on they seem to form to your foot.

Ah, my bad. Some how I thought these were FlyKnits. I never liked the ZV10s but I do love how these look. I’ll give them a try and like you said, if I don’t like them, I can always return them. Thanks for the info!

Agreed. I also laced mine where the laces don’t crossover until the second eyelet and this took some of the tightness off the top of my foot as well. Definitely a non issue for me after a couple court hours as the shoe stretches a bit

Just tried a pair of these on, alongside a pair of standard vapor Xs. Went for the same size in both and the knit were far comfier. I got weird pressure from the instep rubber portion on the standard, and obviously none of that in the knit. Very easy to get on, with a nice compression feel without it being overtly tight. Still easy to tighten the laces as required and felt closer to my 9.5's than the standard X

I just unboxed mine and will play with the later tonight. All I can say right now is that the "sock" makes this feel quite different than the standard X... I'll edit this later, but I don't think comparing them is such a good idea. This feels like a different shoe altogether.

I played with the shoe for 90 minutes. Not sure what to add. I like the shoe, and the tight/glove fit is great. It feels more like the Cage 3 than the Vapor X on my foot. I'm happy with my purchase...

How fair are these statements? I based these on my own experience and what I've read so far.

*If you didn't like the Vapor X because of the outsole, you won't like the new Vapor X Knit
*If you didn't like the Vapor X because of the uppers, you might like the new Vapor X Knit
*If you like the Vapor X, you'll like the Vapor X Knit

I didn't like the Vapor X's outsole primarily. And I don't like the new Vapor X Knit because it's built on the same platform. The uppers are an improvement for my flat, low-arch foot. The uppers are just as supportive without the jarring discomfort from the little claws and the toe guard (again, for my foot).

If you go to Shapovalov instagram page he's been sporting a pair of all Blue pair in some of his recent pics. I'm guessing that will be the next color coming out soon.

Same size as my 9 / 9.5's and very comfy. Played a light session in them, got the classic new shoe slightly dead feet but felt nice and supportive. Proper hit in them on Friday

Hello, I am looking to play with these shoes as well. However, I have a quick question regarding the "dots, triangles" on the upper of the forefoot area. If you play with them, did the small triangles fell off ? It is a small detail but I'm wondering how the shoe will look like after several hours of play since I often damage my shoes in this area because I tend to drag my feet when I hit my backhands! Thank you :)

My Xs are if anything a tiny bit loose width wise compared with say my Yonex Eclipsions; I'm hoping the sock element might make them fit my feet perfectly if I order the same size as regular Xs.

Have you ever played in Cage 3s? I don't ever drag, but it doesn't look like the triangles would ever fall off to me. It is an odd design choice, but I have two pairs now...

I have the black/blue knits. The Knits are definitely a bit more snug than 9.5 and Xs to me, especially in the midfoot and toebox. To be honest, I prefer the fit of the 9.5, X, and my X Kyrie Vs over these. The knits are also much less breathable, and the shoes are a bit damp after playing. Don't get that with any of my other Vapors. But I do have to say that the knits look awesome in all of the colorways so far.

Played a few proper sets in them yesterday, held up well. Right shoe is now very comfy, still a bit of pressure to sort in the left. Traction and stability felt good, and the sock liner does adapt nicely to your foot. Pleased so far, although be warned, the chrome swoosh scuffs very easily

Had exactly the same issue rubbing on the bunion (bone) had to give up wearing them, have you tried the new flyknit version? if you have is it any better?

I have not tried yet since I have more than 20 pairs of vapor 9/9.5. I can skip entire vapor X or Even next version if Nike does not change the design. Vapor 9/9.5 was the best shoes ever ^_^
