My sons and I used to wear Vapor Xs. Had to buy longer laces for all of them. Now I just hoard all tennis shoelaces just in case. I keep them in a bag with all the stock insoles.

I wish theyd drop that color in HC. There is one coming out for the French Open in a HC sole... I hope we actually see it. SOme of these sunshine double colorways still havent shipped and that "season" has come and gone

I've been waiting for more models WITHOUT white/whitish soles. This shoe looks GREAT! It even makes me forget (somewhat) about the embroidered swoosh.
Let's hope these actually make it to market. I have yet to see any colors other than the black/white, white/white or white/washed teal on shelves or online.

Just got a pair of these. The fit is great. Medium fit, soft upper. Secure ankle. Very happy with the fit. They look dope too. I turned a lot of heads doing a Swag lap around the club. But: I do not feel the Zoom Air Unit in the forefoot. Doesn't have any of the bounce i thought it would. I might have gotten a dud because this is a deal breaker. I'm gonna try another pair and see if they feel the same. will report back.

In my pair, one shoe’s Zoom bag is more noticeable than the other. Can feel them both though.
They are soooo comfortable

The GP Turbo has Zoom Air that you can feel when bouncing around. Granted it's full length in the GP - but my expectation was that the forefoot in the NXT would mimic that feeling. I also felt like I got a defective pair with how rock solid the forefoot felt.

Did you go down a size compared to like a cage 4 and Vapor nxt? I wear 10,5 in those and they run big too, but do these run bigger than those too ?

i went with size 10 and I’m a 10.5 in the majority of my shoes. I don’t think they run quite as big as the cage 4 but close. I have a few pairs of cage 4’s in both 10 and 9.5. I go back and forth on which feels better. But I would start with whatever size you are in cage 4.

I have them a pair of custom orthotics in now and they fit with no issue. They fit a lot better in the Zoom NXT’s than they did in my old GP Turbos.

I use gameday Pros and they fit perfectly. Shoe feels great with them.

2nd this! Normally do not wear orthotics but I got a my hands on a free game day pro. It was like night and day when using with the NXTs, but the game day pros felt terrible in my other shoes (Eclipsion 3s, Asics Court FF 2,). The shoe just is not right for my feet without one, it seems. So your YMMV.
I also use another pair of gameday pros in my Diadora b icon and they work great as well. But you’re right about fit is so important when it comes to aftermarket insoles. Gameday pros just seem to be made for the NXT.
Idk if it's just me but the Court Zoom NXT feels unstable to me compared to my normal asics shoes (speed ff2 and gr8). I think the ride is a tad on the high side and flyplate shank isn't really helping either. It's a cool looking shoe and definitely reminded me of Breathe Free 2 and Breathe Cages so I grabbed a pair but I might just rock them casually from now on. Just wished more companies made tennis shoes with a breathable mesh upper just like Court Zoom NXT instead of covering the entire upper with stiff hard polyurethane.

But that mesh upper is precisely why shoes that have it feel less stable. That hard upper gives support. You ever try solecourt boosts? Bricks!
What I think they need to do is the hard uppers but with a ton of holes in it
You may be right! I actually have not tried solecourt boosts. My favorite shoe of all time was Breathe Free 2. Mesh covered with polyurethane upper but lots of holes/dots so it was still breathable yet stable. I wish Nike would re-release or come up with a similar shoe...

Did you ever wear the GR6? Was it wider or narrower in the toebox vs the GR8? Also, what about overall length?
I've never tried the GR6 but I did try GR7 which fit my foot really well and was pretty comfy but I have a slight issue with the current GR8. First sizing is a bit off so most people have to 1/2 size down and the shoe takes forever to break in. Almost barricade stiff. I think for fans of GR7, the solution speed 2's are a better replacement

I took these out for a two hour playtest and was pleasantly surprised. My initial pair seemed too firm. I switched them out for a pair that felt slightly better but that could have just been in my own head. Wore them around the house and i was still wishing for the GP turbo cushiony feel. But. My on court experience was great. They have fantastic stability and i could feel the springiness/energy underneath my feet when i pushed off. Moving forward and backward felt way more natural than with my ubersonics. Side to side, i had better stability and was getting out of the corners quickly. I had my doubts about the waffle tread pattern but on har-tru clay courts, i thought it was fantastic. zero issues. I've been playing in the ubersonic 4 for the past few months and thought i would notice the extra weight of the zoom nxt but i really didnt. I felt just as fast but with more stability. I preferred the GP turbo when walking around but the performance on these is better. I think i have found my on court shoe! excited for all the new colors

Court nxt half size under my usual (I haven’t changed shoe sizes in like 10 years….) seems to be the winner. At least… going to test it out more heavily first.

Looks like concorde which was a combination back then.
Nike seems to shy away from a true purple but this is pretty close. Very Clemson University.
I hope I can point to my eyesight and say they are bluish because I don’t wear purple. Kind of reminds me of the ultramarine color from the challenge court retro a few years ago. Blue with a tinge or purple.
