Anyone know the difference between the two style numbers? Both are up on the official Nike site.

It’s crazy to me, but the only difference I can see is the black stitching on the back side.
Everything else looks the same?

Exactly as you stated. Production date.
I feel like production date doesn't warrant a new style number for inventory... but I don't work in retail, so what do I know?!

Maybe they finally added the Zoom Air units?! 'Cause when I tried these, the forefoot was hard as the court.

Is there a denouement to this? Some have an "Air" in the title and some do not.

Hi all, looking for a bit of sizing advice for those of you that have worn in your NXTs.

I’m generally US10 across the board but understood the NXTs run a tad long so tried on 9.5 as well. Out of the box, I felt like both sizes could work. The 10s were hardly clown shoes and seemed to fit a bit better through the mid foot as evidenced by the lace length. The 9.5s seemed snug but doable but the laces markedly shorter - although enough to tie a bow. Appreciating the 9.5s in particular might stretch out a bit, any wisdom on to which size is the better selection? I’m not too hard on my shoes (astroturf player) so hoping to get a decent stint out of the model.

I previously wore the Air Zoom Vapor Pros in US10 but had to retire these on account of frequent toe jamming (I think due to the assumetrical lacing system and beefed up toe guard). I also found the fit around the opening / heel to be a bit sloppy.

TIA!

Not going to be what you want to hear but I felt exactly the same way when I tried 11.5 vs 12 and the indecision made me abandon these shoes altogether. Raptors and BluShield 5s were the same: abandoned

Haha, thanks. And yeah, probably not what I want to hear but also exactly what I’m thinking :S

Can anyone else chime in? Otherwise I’m probably going to just err on the side of caution and go with my regular 10. Cheers

Do you have a high arch or something, you mentioned you're struggling to do the laces up on the shoe? I'm a 12 and had to go down .5 size but I have to cinch down really tight to get anything that resembles a lockdown. My opinion, if you dont feel comfortable in either size, try a different shoe altogether.

I should have thought of this before but a compromise you could consider making would be the lower size with thinner socks OR in your case, thicker socks in the larger size?

Thanks - I always play in thickish socks so would prefer to keep this consistent. Mostly interested to hear if the shoes balloons out over time. Cheers

I was in the same boat, I ended up going a half size down. The smaller size felt like the shoe was locking down in the correct places that I needed it too. I have only played in them a handful of times but they don't feel like they have stretched out at all. I do get a very slight heel slip in my left foot on these even with the half size down, not enough to bother me, but something tells me it would be worse if I went TTS

I just bought my first pair. I am normally a 10 in Nike running shoes and Vapor Pro but same as with Vapor Cage I went for 9,5 and they are perfect. I have low arch and wideish mid foot but no pain at all.

Well, I had a shoe lace loop break on mine this weekend. Shoes are about a month old and I have worn them maybe 6 times.

For those that this has happened to, did you get this resolved through Nike directly, or the place of purchase? I bought mine on a big Tennis website.

What kind of resolution has everyone been getting (if any)?

I dealt with the retailer itself, got a replacement not long after sending over photos etc.

These colors go well together. Is there any release date associated with these? Also if anyone knows…does this color scheme shift over to something similar on the ZVP2? It looks like Fritz may already be wearing a shirt to match these as well.

Thanks for sharing.

Judging from the clay sole, I would guess that this is for summer?

@Babolast , any inisight?

Thanks for the advice, y’all. I ended up staying with my ‘true’ size, US10, partly because I couldn’t find the clay version in stock in 9.5. I’ve now played in them a few times and still believe I could have made either size work, even though the 10 may have stretched out a tad since. Imo I don’t think the shoes necessarily run large and would suggest trying on a pair before you purchase.

In saying this, assuming a similar fit, I think I’ll try a 9.5 in my next pair of Nike tennis shoes - if only for comparisons sake!

So far I’m enjoying the shoes vastly more than other recent Nike flagship purchases, including the Vapor Pro. Generally more comfortable - and no toe jamming which I was finding to be a big problem with recent Nike shoes.
