Nike Elite tennis crew socks vs Nike Elite basketball socks

TW - Can you comment on how the Nike Elite tennis crew socks compare to the Nike Elite basketball ones? Are the more cushion in the forefoot and heel or are they similar.

I never worn Nike tennis crew socks but wondering if they are better than the Nike Elite basketball socks which offer great compression on your calves and good cushioning.

To be completely honest, I much prefer the Nike Elite basketball sock to play tennis in over the actual Elite Tennis sock. It does offer a bit more cushioning than the basketball one but it also doesn't hold its shape as well and gets bunched up during play. The material of the Elite Tennis sock is more similar to the "traditional tennis sock" (like a Thorlo), but personally I'd still opt for the basketball sock for its zonal cushioning and lightweight comfort.

Nike elite basketball socks has more cushion.
Elite tennis socks are thinner than basketball socks.
Elite basketball socks has slippery problem. Tennis socks has still slippery problem but slightly better.
Basketball crew socks are lengthy
Crew Tennis socks length is about right. Between crew and quarter length.
A little concern about durability on tennis socks.
Have not used hot condition yet but tennis socks might be cooler than basketball socks.
I prefer tennis socks though.

I agree with everything that's been said the best features is the basketball version has better zonal cushion especially around ankle. And I have a few pairs that are 3-4 years old not that I'm proud of that but they've lasted this whole time just have turned a touch off white.

I'll offer a different take; having played in the Nike Hyperelite Lebron's and the Nike Elite Tennis sock, I find the Tennis version to be much better suited for tennis given the fabric composition. The Tennis version has ~30% cotton so they don't slip nearly as much as the basketball versions. They may not have as much thick ankle cushioning, but I'd rather avoid the sensation of slipping inside your shoes and having to lace down super tight.
