Well, looks like the Lunar Ballistec is the next Vapor version, since it has the major advantages the Vapor has: lightweight and comfort!

anyone who has purchased these kicks already or tried them on, do they sit high or low to the ground, compared to the 4.3's? Anyone got a side-by-side comparison photo of the two shoes together?

Looks so much better than my thought, but its too expensive. How much you guys think the price will drop to 4-5months from now?

Jman, I asked the same question in the comments of the video, and Andy said they sat lower than the 4.3, but not as low as the vapors.

I am confused. so they made a Lighter version of the Ballistec. so it is just like the Vapors. What is the Point ??????????

Great thing about ballistic was its Thick Very long lasting air cushioning....even 300 lbs guy can wear it and feel comfy with cushion. Now they took that away ???

I agree with kdang that it kinda looks like a basketball shoe in the toe area.
I kinda feel like the outsole looks similar to a propulse 3-4 outsole. I don't think these are durable at all looking at the tread pattern and thickness on the sides. I've worn all the previous versions of the ballistec line and this has no reminiscent features of a ballistic shoe ( no air max) .
I personally do not like the lunarlon stuff, hurts my knees and the balls of my feet after long hours on the court. I will most likely stock up on 4.3s for this upcoming season. or move on to barricades.

Exactly. cushioning is so far inferior to old thick ballistic Air cushioning. It is VERY surprising to me that Nike has gone this route. RAFA has big time knee problems. WHY did Rafa agree to this ???

He didn't, that's why he is using custom build ones ;)

Agree about the need for support via air cushion (Asics GR5s gave me metatarsalia- pains in the balls of my left foot that hasn't healed completely in 2 months ) and yeah I've counted and I got 5 pairs of 4.3s, 3 brand new (although I left one in Europe since I've been going there and playing on red clay each year recently). May even buy more :)

Agreed,Ballistics should not really be considered a speed shoe.I love the beefy feel.Confidence is crucial with shoes, when you play a grinding style. If i wanted light, supportive, cushioned, shoes idd rather stick to the Gel speeds.
