Nike Shoe Warranty - 1 pair only?

So if my breathe cage shoes last me one month, replaced under warranty (via that gift card they send you), do I get to return the replacement pair for a 3rd pair if that pair only lasts less than six months also?

Does the warranty only apply to the original pair of shoes?

This question comes up again and again. A little searching would give you the answer.

The warranty is good for only a single replacement of the shoes. It isn't a "buy one pair and get a lifetime replacement" deal.

However, on another thread on this same topic, a player claims he's received like 4-7 pairs off a single purchase, which means Nike has been quite sloppy, or he's lying.

^^^^^^^^^ spot on

except those people who got more than one replacements also might given receipts with their replacements

Sorry about the search function.

I don't see why it is absurd to think it is a continual replacement.

Imagine buying a stereo, furniture, a car, or whatever else with a warranty and it completely fails under warranty - nope! we'll only replace/fix it once! you're stuck with the replacement that is just as faulty as the original!

Even with those other products, the warranty is only good for a certain period of time and they will only replace the product within that period FROM THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE as stated on your receipt. The warranty never gets reset to a new date with the replacement product. I have never seen that happen.

Besides, with the shoes' outsole warranties, it is not a product defect. All shoes will wear out if you wear them enough. If you wear them out before 6 months that just means you wore them more often than Nike estimated the average customer of the shoe will. They are talking a calculated risk that only a certain small percentage of all the buyers of the shoe will ever wear them out within 6 months and send them in for replacement. They are not in the business of providing a lifetime of free shoes. They would be out of business fast if they did that all the time.

I'm averaging 4-5 weeks per pair. It would be nice if the sum of all pairs they let me use would last 6 months.

As far as business goes, they build the shoes to wear out fast like this. Most shoes are purchased by casual players who probably could get a year out of them, but thankfully for Nike the soles wear out before one year (but after 6 months).

The sad fact is that they cannot provide me with 6 months of shoe usage for a $100 shoe.

Thankfully I may have found a nice replacement with Prince's new OC model, but before that I endured Nike because it was one of the few that fit my foot.

yeah, i did the same thing. i bought the cage 1's and sent them back. i got the product voucher, BUT they took the cage 1's off their website. Instead...i went through the trouble of paying another 5 dollars for cage 2's. I did this as an attempt to send it back for another warranty.

it says "limit 1 pair of cage 2's to be sent back," so, that means i could send this pair back for a third one, right? i have a receipt from nike for the cage 2's
