Nike sizing guide?

Does anyone own a Nike Victory polo from the US Open range last year in size M or L? (pic below)

I own a number of Nike shirts, mostly sized medium - which fit me fine.. but this year's Australian Open shirt is suddenly miles smaller. The M is literally skin-tight like a cycle shirt. The large version is even smaller than some of the mediums I own.

I'd like to order the sky blue or navy blue US Open shirt and the only references I can find (on ****) seem to just be lifted from the Nike guidelines. Can anyone help with an actual measurement of one - either M of L size?

As an example of how wrong they can be - the Nike guide (in the Nike shop) says the L fits chest size 42-44". We measured the 2011 Australian Open shirt, size L, and it was only 39.5".

No. They're all pretty stretchable.

A 'M' shirt which fits fine in one range doesn't suddenly go skin tight for the next range. At least none display/brochure or Federer using the shirt photos portray it intended to be worn like that.

Their sizing isn't consistent enough to warrant buying online and discovering you bought something way too small, or went up a size to be safe only to find out they're normal size and you just bought something too big.
