The only thing they can improve performance wise on the Vapor would be to make it more breathable. $165 for the LBs is crazy given how big a jump in price to the current model. They are starting to get into the basketball realm in terms of pricing.

they're not really that different compared to the current vapors. It's literally the exact same thing actually. Except for more changes that make it look more like a one-piece upper.

The Vapors will be $135. Federer jackets are $150 and nadal jacket will be $130 according to the catalog. $20 increase. The shirts stay the same as this year.

Not so bad, because I never buy the jackets anyway, and just wait for the shoes to drop to around 100 bucks.

Fed has a night factor shirt; its the dark color like that dark teal you described earlier in the thread.

Yup in the power uv polo. Also a baseline polo has jade as the collar color, it's really nice.

It will be night factor. Do u remember fed shirt for 2009 us open? That's the exact same design.

Mica green is an odd one... To me it looks alot like grey. Yes it's with the orange if you go along with the release dates.

I'm not entirely sure.... I don't remember seeing one but it's tough to remember. Il go back and look over it again

no, feds shirt has a what appears as a very thin striping around the color. The shirt is 98% night factor; very little green.

The baseline polo has jade color not fed. I was just saying the baseline polo has the same design as fed shirt from us open 2009.

The thin trim around the nightfactor collar for fed is red. Hence the red jacket and vapors

Red jacket for Fed... Yeah Jade Bandana but also a grey is somewhere there in the mix.. who knows how he will use it? I don't see athlete power crews? The other shirts are pretty cool.. some better than others.

I don't understand why people don't just like their emails to their usernames and have others message them the photos rather than just posting your email so everyone can see it.

This happens every time. All someone has to do is upload the pics to another site, for instance a facebook page, and just tell everyone where to go or what to search for in google.
That way you aren't breaking any rules here because you aren't posting pics or posting a link. It's really not that hard.

Part of the charm of the shoe though was the detaling and the vents and heel, being able to break up the shoe with different colours in different places....it looks like virtually the whole upper of the new one will have to be one solid colour, and then some 'graphics' which on that shoe looks like something designed for a child

Haha, to be fair I did hate the V9's when I first saw the promo pics! And now i love them. I can't help but feel the shoe looks a little bland now though, and graphics always seem like a cheap alternative to actual shoe design. We shall see!

I'm a huge fan of what Tinker has done with the Vapor 9 so if nike just wants to update graphics that is more than fine by me. it gives me a new look with tried and tested performance. will it be to everyones taste probably not but i rather have a pair of shoes out with polarizing style than the crap fest that was the vapor 7 and 8

That's called progress. Companies are always looking for methods to reduce costs. You're paying for the Nike brand and some of Fed/Nadal's endorsement deals. Otherwise, you'd get a shiny new pair of V9's and change from a $10. Not happening.

Got to see AO's gear for Fedal on the internet... Damn Federer was right:

Now they're almost carbon copies. At USO13, the shoes have the same colourway, now at AO14 they almost have the same colours. Grey shorts for both. White polo for day and black polo for night for Federer, red jacket. Red and black t-shirt for Nadal. Mainly red, chest is black with a grey band separating the chest area from the stomach area.

Bring back pirate shorts and sleeveless tops for Nadal please.
