RF Wimbledon henley just arrived. Gorgeous. Soft like last yr's Dimitrov henleys. Sleeves are bout 3/4" longer. Nice attention to detail with the 'bullethole' ventilation.

$80 is a lot - but I love the henleys and didn't want to risk not getting an L.

I found there's several versions of Federer's purple polo :
- a first retail version with "hot lava" inner placket and purple buttons.
- a second retail version with purple inner placket and "hot lava" buttons.
- a third version worn by Federer, with both purple inner placket and buttons.

I asked Nike, and the wristband is actually "Vivid Blue / Hot Lava".
"Vivid blue" being the darkest color of his outfit, and "Blue Lagoon" being the lightest (and also the socks, shoes and headband).

Ballistecs and Cages are already released in white with a "metallic silver" swoosh. I assume these will be for Wimby.
So maybe the Vapors will be with a silver swoosh too !

(or possibly the retail version with silver swoosh but Fed's PE with black swoosh for better exposure on TV, like Nike did last year)

Hmmm..... that's interesting. Maybe ID 9.5 is on the way. With the one-piece upper, Im expecting some sweet customization options.

That was my guess but I'd be slightly disappointed as I've always preferred the 9's.
Still, hope they update one way or another soon, need more black vapours!

Thinking about it again, I have to make a correction :
The Nike girl I chated with did confirm that Rafa's outfit was VIVID BLUE (darker part) and BLUE LAGOON (lighter part) after she searched - and found - infos about that.
I asked about the wristband being "VIVID BLUE / HOT LAVA" then. She said it was right, but COULD NOT FIND ANY INFO TO CONFIRM !
I asked for color code (PAC294xxx) and she couldn't give any further info...

I repeat : I assumed the wristband was "Vivid blue / hot lava" like his outfit, but even if she agreed, she could not confirm.

So, maybe your source are right after all, and the wristband could well be "MILITARY BLUE / HOT LAVA" as it's pretty similar !

I don't know that these are the exact same model, but you can buy volt and persian violet Nike socks in their Elite and Hyper Elite lines, which are really great socks. They're pretty similar, with the Elite having more cushioning and the Hyper Elite a little thinner with slightly more compression/support in certain spots.

Not sure if TW carries those colors right now, but they're out there.

Just a few comments on the Federer henley. Upside - it is really soft, like cotton. I actually think wearing it, it's a bit goofy and looks kind of formal, like a priest or tuxedo collar. Lastly, it's a trim fit, so not great if you have some spare tire going.
