Nike Vapor 9.5 for different surfaces

Hi

So the Nike Vapor 9.5 shoe is offered as an all court version, a clay court version and a carpet version. But how does the material / design / composition differ?

For example, I own an all court and a clay court version, and they look pretty much the same to me and didn't feel that the clay court version improved the experience in any way on clay court compared to the all court version.

Looking forward to some feedback on this.

Best. Bendaer

Usually the only difference(and the most important one) is the tread. If you look at the tread of your two versions you will notice they are different.

Sometimes clay shoes will have different uppers to hold up better against the clay, but the tread is usually the big difference.

The clay version of the vapor has a synthetic leather on the forefoot to keep the clay from getting into the shoe. As mention from Nove, the outsole pattern is different as its a full herringbone pattern as you can knock off the clay from your shoe compared to the all court version. You can certainly use the all court in clay, but it optimal to use a clay specific shoe since it was made for that purpose.
